Looks like a good printer for the price and the cost of replacement ink doesn't seem too bad either.

Want a cheap printer that's pretty good - under 20 quid is 1990s prices.
As for Narcotix comment replacement ink prices not bad either, I don't agree. INKS is where people get really ripped off. You buy a printer at rock bottom price, then pay through the nose for its refill ink.

I have a Office (Epson) printer all singing dancing one. The price of refills (CMYK) is horrendous! Don't use cheap refills it says. I buy cheapies at around 12 cartridges for 7 quid - originals would cost me 90 quid!
I fake the printer into thinking they are 'original' Epson, and it works a treat! I have had it now for 5 years (I dread the day it packs up as it has been superb, best printer I have ever had since I first bought one in 1980! Occasionally you get a cartridge not recognised and it's simple, switch off, switch on - away it prints (some mistakenly then contact Epson and sign up to changes, mistake!)

So if you want the best printer, scanner, copier out there for peanuts get the Office BX305FW Plus. Brilliant. Now discontinued but you can find them.
With cartridges so cheap why wouldn't you?

A complete set of cheapies for the Canon printer can be found for £7.99 inclusive of VAT!

While a complete set of Genuine inks are £22.90 (Amazon Link)

How is that a rip off compared to the prices you quoted for your now discontinued printer?
