Looks good!

Keep an eye on myworld.ebay.co.uk/can…k1/ - they often pop up for around £20 on the official Canon store on eBay. These are refurbished units, but as anyone (including myself) will tell you who has bought one on here, they arrive practically brand new with a new full set (sometimes 2 full sets) of ink.

What's the difference to a MG3150 ??

The Canon Pixma MG3250 is a new-and-improved version of the Pixma MG3150. The engine and ink cartridges are identical, and the print speed and quality are exactly the same. What's changed is the addition of two new integrated software solutions and AirPlay.

is it wifi and blutooth enabled

WiFi. Works via AirPrint.

ok thanks xeroc just never heard of airprint

If this works same way as the 5350 then its a miles better option then the epsons. When ink runs out by the chip it gives you the option to continue printing till the ink physically runs out.You just notice the colour goes off when it does,so you may lose that print but ive had between 10 and 30 extra a4ish prints after the ink told it that it was empty, brilliant

that is good to know as if its not AirPrint (I assume its what you mean) then 3150 is no general use to me

Both epson and canon can do the same, but you need to use the paper feed button and code it to override the empty ink warning.

Is just one example

Do any of these print onto DVD-R discs?

I must have been the unlucky one. Bought a powershot camera from canon @ebay which arrrived in terrible condition. But they did give apology & refund in full. Said due to volume of sales they couldn't check every item.

Cheap inkjet printers discussed on The Register

Just in case anyone wondered the MG3150 also supports Airprint they are great printers and have excellent features

I was lucky. I got a 6000 series for about £60 and it came with the full set of inks which cost half of that and it was in pristine condition. It didn't have airplay but there are ways around this.

I would go for this over an epson. You can get cheap ebay inks for epsons but im sure epson software make those inks run out early, or sometimes doesnt recognise them, and ive given up trying to print in grayscale. I always have to run the head cleaning thing too, admittedly I dont use the printer much but I think canon would be better.

Just picked this up in Tesco for the same price.
