Hot hot hot i saw this on offer of the day
great price ordered
Does anyone know how much the ink would be for this printer?
Canon printers are often cheap, but the ink is really expensive. Spend a little more on printers with the cheapest ink, e.g. Kodak, and you'll save the difference soon enough

More than the printer for Canon ones.
Black cartridge about £12.50 and colour £16.50 is best deal I found looking just now
just buy another printer when the ink runs out!
Thanks MJV
hot
Canon ink is not expensive. I've had a Canon MP550 for about 18 months, a full set of refilled ink from ebay is less than £4 delivered and not had any problems so far
About £15 for the PG-540XL (Black) and £17 for the CL-541XL.

According to the Canon blurb though, these work out 50% cheaper per page than the standard size ink cartridges, as these are high capacity inkjet cartridges.

Of course if you don't care that much, you can always go down the "compatible" route, rather than using originals. That will save you a fortune, however print quality may not be the same as Canon originals.

All gone now....expired.

Great deal..
Unfortunately where you may save on Kodak ink prices its a shame the quality of the output isn't fantastic.
This is a great price for a budget printer which should do most people good
Poo! All gone.
got one with a £10 off voucher. just saying !
Great price cheers OP..................

I think the Canon Pixma MG4250 have the ink heads built into the cartridge, so you always get a new print head each time you buy a new cartridge (no chance of the head nozzles blocking) not like on the Epson printers.

Plus you can refill the Canon cartridges as they are not disabled by a chip, where a rest tool is required.

Bargain! Bargain!

Suddenly back in stock now but for £44.99!
Has anyone seen the price in store today?
Canon ink is far from being the most expensive. Epson is very much dearer. And as for Kodak, the company is bust so good luck with continuing supplies!
I own a canon pixima 5250,currently getting 3 full sets of ink
for 7.99 delivered so its Deffo not expensive on ink!!
