yes it does although i haven't tried to print onto a cd /dvd yet
although you can get like new refurbs from Canon on ebay for 39.99 when in stock
ink is quite cheap for this model so don't know what dealaware is on about?
It was only 2 in my region, now one less
I had a Canon Pixma printer which was pretty poor with ink smudging, paper feed problems and it also had quite expensive replacement cartridges.
However, early this year I read reviews and chose this printer and have been very impressed with it. It really is a good, all-rounder and definitely worth the price....I paid £74 and I still consider that a good deal. Thoroughly recommended and great deal.
Yes It Does...Plus you can get compatible inks for £2.50

Bought one of these three weeks ago for 75 quid from Argos.
Yes is prints CDs\DVDs but I bought it because of how superbly it prints on to photo glossy paper.
It does duplex, booklet printing for plain paper and will also print onto very thick photo paper.
A very versatile printer and one that can save you money if you use it duplex features.
This printer is used connected via USB on my main desktop PC but wireless printing from my laptop and mobile phone is a great extra to have.
The only issue I have with the 5350 is the scanning software is dumbed down and is pis~ poor. but I have Vuescan so no major worries there.
My last Canon Pixma printer lasted 8 years so I'll be happy if this last lasts 5-6 years. (fingers crossed)

Yeah i'm **** off with my canon printer, ink only lasts about 3-4 months then dries up. You can buy a new printer for the amount in costs to replace the ink. About £45 quid for ink refill is robbery.
Cheers for that link, seems excellent value!
A few people mention ink drying up (which can happen in any brand by the way), at least with the Canon you are able to remove the print head to manually clean it if needs be
It's therefore nothing like your past Canon Pixma... The ink is as cheap as Brother ink, whilst you'd have paid a lot more initially for your printer than one of these.
Never mind, I got Currys/PCWorld to price match it at £54.99 today (despite the sales guy logging on to Argos and seeing it was OOS everywhere), so happy days... thanks OP and theincredibleken!
