I have been looking for a replacement printer since mine packed up over a week ago and I missed the cheap deal posted on here from Tesco recently.
This printer is an all in one, wifi. Cheapest price I could find.
It costs £49.99, sorry the app would not allow me input the correct amount, hence the £50 I have written here.

A very good printer. Picked one of these up from Tesco a couple of weeks ago for £30.
Same here.
Excellent printer with stupidly cheap ink
just missed out on this both times at £30, now ordered as still seems a good printer for the price.
can anyone recommend if it's worth using the genuine ink or compatible off eBay?
I've always used compatible and never had a problem with quality or anything else
Same here, got one for £30 from Tesco, very pleased with it. Worth £50 in my opinion

Yes me too good buy
Does anyone know how this compares to the Canon Pixma MG3650. Buying printers is a mind field
What cheap compatible carts do people recommend, have the MG4250 and wouldn't mind saving some shekels

Just to agree with all the previous comments on this being a great printer.
I've had the MG 5250 for three years and can't really fault it in any way.
Try prink.co.uk for compatible inks - made in the USA, 30% more ink per cartridge than originals, and less than a tenner for a full set.
EDIT: Just checked and a full set is £6.50 here

I've had a Canon MG4150 for years, got is cheap from Jessops when they were closing down. Couple of firmware updates later made it AirPrint compatible, and genuine Canon cartridges on the web are £20 for a pack of black & colour. These last ages by the way ..

Hot from me ... if mine ever packs up then it will be another Canon for sure ...
Does this printer work with Windows 10?

Does this printer work with Windows 10?

Someone asked same question on argos website and the answer was yes, it does work with Windows 10. Hope this helps.
Same here - I got from tescos few weeks ago at £29 and I'm delighted with it - really works well and so easy to print from phone or tablet. Well worth £50.

Also ditto - does work with Windows 10

I bought the HP Officejet 3830 for £49 on the basis that it has a multi-page feeder for the scanner.

It's not an all in one until it has a drink dispenser built in. In fact no printer in an All in One. What does that mean? I will consult Google...brb...

Nobody cares if you got the printer for £30
The MG5350 is absolutely magnificient. A full set of ink cartridges for that printer costs circa £3 - £4.
The closely related MG5650 should also therefore be very good
Great printer. The inks are replaced individually and they can be had very cheaply.

Yes they can - see my link in comment #9 (and no - I am not affiliated to Prink in any way - I just buy all my MG5250 compatible cartridges from them).

I have the 5550 and use compatible ink, in fact I have had printers for the last 17 years and have never used original ink once the ones that came with it ran out. Never had clogging issues - just order from a reputable supplier!
Thanks
is anyone here buying it with the 3 years replacement care?

No - it's not WiFi-connectable and the cartridges will cost you an arm and a leg...

This is a no brainer at a very good price. We've always had Canons for the last 18years or so. They are workhorses and compatible inks work very well in them. Tried other makes but no way could they compare to Canon. The 5 ink system is GREAT. Now we're not using for business the inks last a VERY long time - left a nearly empty set of inks in printer when we took a 2 month break & they still worked when we got back. I think we last bought 3 full sets off ebay for £10. Compare that price to a set of 2 inks (often in the £30 printers) & after 1 set you're quids in.

Currently out of stock for home delivery to me
Same price on amazon
if id left inkjet printer , cannon or otherwise for 2 months it would dry up

Just how can this machine and ink be any different ??!
I have massive issues with the paper feeding on mine. 4/5 times it does not feed. Tried printing out a dissertation, took longer to print that write.
can you print directly to disc with this model? thanks
Had Canons for years, one packed up after 13 months straight to landfill. One nearly died when a scrap of torn off corner paper drifted into the printer and confused the sensors. Near impossible to open the thing. Managed to fish it out with a pair of long nosed pliers taped to a pair of tweezers. Never put small or scrappy pieces of paper into a printer feed tray!

In the old days I used to order Canon cartridges by usage. For example if cyans were going down fastest and black the slowest I'd order 3 cyan, 2 each of other colours, 1 black.
Not possible any more. All sellers seem to have bundles only of colour + black. Or very rarely individual blacks at double the price per cartridge. So it's started to be a waste of ink, keep having to order unwanted colours in bundles - almost might as well go back to multicoloured cartridges..

I had a phase of this happening on my Canon. Took the feed tray out and re-seated it properly, been OK ever since.
Just a heads up to say that this printer is still at Argos for £49.99. Bargain if you get it as it takes the previous generation PGI-550/CLI-551 ink cartridges which are cheaper than the latest generation printers taking the newer PGI-570/CLI-571 cartridges.

Sometimes Argos upgrade stock like this to the latest model, so worst case scenario is you may get the newer MG5750 printer for £50!
