CANON PIXMA MG5650 All-in-One Wireless Inkjet Printer £49 Delivered @ Currys (Cheaper with Beat My Price @ Bespoke Offers)

Am looking to purchase a compact all-in-one inkjet printer and it came down to 3 printers - Epson Xp-322, Hp Envy 4500, and this Canon MG5650.
So submitted demands on Flubit and Bespoke which resulted in following best offers -
Epson Xp-322 £34.63 (Flubit), Hp Envy 4500 £39.99 (Bespoke), and Canon MG5650 £39.42
I actually submitted 2 price demands with Bespoke for the Canon as the first one had a long referral link, and they came back with 2 prices... £39.42 the cheapest, the other £44.89...both coming from the same supplier.

Anyhow, Canon seems the best value with it's separate inks - a full set of compatible ink can be had for around £5 delivered, less if you but multiple sets.

Also Expert Reviews had the Canon as their best buy in Oct last year at a price point of £74 expertreviews.co.uk/pri…iew

So the price i'm paying is... £39.42 plus i get a further £1 for the quote, and £5.91 for the 15% cashback, so a net buy of £32.51

Had no problem here, when i went to buy just logged back in to quidco, went through to Bespoke, clicked on the quote and proceeded through their checkout with no problem.

Ahh... just thought, they do give you a time limit, perhaps yours had expired?

I haven't had any problems with TCB paying out on purchases. Paying out in about 3 or 4 weeks too.
Maybe I am being silly, but how is this supposed to work? With Beat my price you get an offer from a merchant that I never heard of (Fireworks merchant) and supposedly will beat the price by a random amount (no matter what, that is point point of the website), paying through Beat my price website so... how do the merchant and beat my price make money out of outpricing an already good deal from a major retailer?

The best bit is that often when it is an Amazon price that they are beating, the item is delivered in Amazon packaging anyway.

That's cause they are just a purchaser, goods are sent from the retailer directly fireworksmerchant.com/abo…php
So in this instance Curry's should be sending me the printer. lol

Which link gave you the lowest price, the one with or without the referer?

I can't be sure for certain, i did the one with referral first which was from 'offer of the day' website, and then one straight from the currys website. The more expensive quote had a 12 hour validity period, the 2nd only 8 hours.
My advice would be to do both and see what happens, nothing to lose.
Just for peoples info, I own one of these printers which I got exchanged by Argos a few weeks back. Paper feed and jamming issues from day 1. Girlfriend needed it for college work so stuck with it until her course finished, exchanged it and am having the same issues again. Seems to be a common fault with this model. Also, there's no collect-return warranty on it and you have to ship it to Surrey if you want a repair within warranty.
