How good is it for photos ?

Haven't printed photos out yet as all printers free cart's are halve full
I got one of these a while back and it’s really good for photos. We’ve had quite a few photos out of the carts that came with it
For about the same price, you could get a more capable all-in-one printer like the HP officejet or Epson workforce pro. Their RRPs are high, but often can be had for £70-80 at the likes of Curry's and very frequently the manufacturers do cashback schemes of £30-60, bringing the cost down to around £45-65.

These are great all in one printers. You can also buy a complete set of 5 compatible inks for £9 meaning it won’t cost you an arm and a leg to replace the inks

That's the most important thing for me when buying a printer, been using an IP 8750 for years on its last legs been using compatible cartridges from eBay for years, no issues. Time for an upgrade.
Thanks purchased for my niece.
These are really great printers when they work, but most of this particular model invariably fail with an unrecoverable error "B203" after about 12 - 18 months (do a Google search - it's a really widespread issue).

The (compatible) inks are dead cheap though and print/photo quality is high.

Luckily, I had bought mine from Amazon and when the dreaded B203 hit me at the 14 month point, they happily refunded me - as it is such a well known issue.

Note: "B203" normally indicates overheating in the printhead. A replacement would cost more than the printer, and in some cases (not mine) it is possible to clear by thoroughly washing out the printhead.
Where can I get the replacement cartridges from?
The cheaper the better
