Far the best price for this printer.

Currys had a deal on MG5750 (basically the same) 2 weeks ago @59.99 which I missed on but Tesco Direct's deal is an absolute cracker.

It's cheaper to run when compatible inks used.

You won't likely find that deal in store. However they will deliver for free to any Tesco store of your choice including Tesco Express!

I've done my printer research over last 2 months and that's the best you can get for your money AFAIK.

There was a MG6850 for the same price not long ago @Ebuyer but they're mostly the same. If there's any difference do your own research.

If you'd like a step up printer get brother DCP-J4120DW @79.99 with A3 printing. Best to get at your local Currys PC World as it's not free of issues as any other printer.

Pixma 5700 series are great all rounders.

You may encounter B200 error at any time of it's service which is a nightmare with Pixma printers but this may be solved by taking the printhead out and rinsing under warm water. See tutorials on the Internet.

I've just got mine so feel free to ask any questions.

PROS: I will get into that

Cons: No CD/DVD disc printing

does it print to disc. like the 7250

I'll let you know when I get it but specs should state that

It DOESN'T print to CD/DVD disc. So if you need that feature, you're in wrong place.

Also it doesn't use same cartridges as 7250. Canon 550 and 551 click in but canon decided they will use different chip to invent new set of cartridges. Remanufactured ones cost around £15-20/set

Cloud setup went flawlessly. You can print anything using Canon IJ Cloud Printing Center in your browser or directly from Android Canon Print App.

You can manage your printer from the web.

No need to enter any URL as QR code is printed or shown on the display to set up the cloud

yeh, I bought 7250 instead found the inks were cheaper and it does disc printing. I aready have another printer that does other stuff.
