Not a bad price at all I thought, the Canon PIXMA MG6850 All-In-One Wireless Printer has been reduced to £49.99 (JL have price matched) but Cartridge People have a £5 off wys £50 code (AFF50), so I did a VERY quick search & found some sticky notes for £1.49 & added those to the basket, entered the code & it made them both delivered for £46.48. Obviously you can add whatever you want, sadly the code can't be stacked, but there is another code for £10 off £100 Spend if you buy more, that is AFF100.

Printer has excellent reviews across the net too.

Don't know much about printers, but would this be good as a basic printer? Do you have to get monthly printing cartridges? Or just buy standard ones off eBay...

Thanks - the header and first para refers to MG4250 but the rest of description and link relates to MG6850

I got myself a wee bit confused when I was looking for price comparisons, sorry its def the MG6850

does it come with ink or you gotta buy the ink?

Thirsty as hell, and the inks aren't cheap. Otherwise its a great unit.

Best printer I've ever owned. It works well with ebay cartridges too, so it's actually cheap to run so long as you go that route.

Thanks, ordered with a set of ink cartridges for £59.99 delivered.

I have a 6350, they're good printers and copiers, but canon ink cartridges are super-tricky with ink levels, I've used cartridges for weeks or months past the computer constantly nagging me to replace them and still get clean prints. I'm using 3rd party carts atm and they work fine. The touchscreen is a little finicky but makes copying very easy.

Ink cartridges are expensive even on ebay...

Also bought this printer with photo paper 50 of them for £3.99 but its buy one get one free so 100 prints for 4 quid I'm happy with that
