Canon MG7750 is the latest top of the MG range printer and the reviews are superb.

I noticed that Amazon have the same product listed twice. They have it listed for £152.87 and £119.99 (both sold and supplied by Amazon).

The MG7750 printer is being sold for £169.95 by John Lewis etc.

£119.99 is a genuine bargain. It could be a price mistake by Amazon but my order has been delivered.

MG7550 (the old model, notice the different code) is even £10 more than the MG7750 (new model) on Amazon.

EDIT: Canon are offering £20 cash-back so £99.99 is possible.

Genuinely curious, what are the actual benefits of this printer over any other printer selling at +-£50 with most, if not all, of these features?

Never found Canon printers appealing because of their lacklustre print quality and expensive ink replacement options, even third-party ones.

The photo prints are rated as very near to lab quality and the printer takes XL sized inks.

Yes, it sounds like a competent enough printer, but not exactly remarkable and not twice as good as one at half the price. I get the impression that the poster bought ig and is now looking for validation
That's a very clever analysis of the posters underlying motives - not in the least bit patronising. Perhaps he, like myself, is aware how good these top end Canon printers are and wanted to share an excellent price.
I have a nkw elderly top-end Canon printer hooked up to a continuous ink system and it just refuses to die. Fantastic.

Print quality: The Canon is 9,600 x 2,400dpi and has a six-tank ink engine (which adds grey). It also scans at a higher res' and is fast. It also has a 10/100 Ethernet port which some cheaper printers don't have.
I bought this a while ago and it's by far the best printer I've ever owned and I've had printers from all the big names (epson x 3, HP x 2, lexmark x 1, Brother x 1 and more). The print quality is superb, scanning's great and the network abilities are outstanding and all with out any effort, which is more than can be said for every other printer I've ever owned. You get what you pay for I think.

You must have bought the MG7550 model not the MG7750.

The better model I posted is available for £119.99 from Amazon plus Canon are offering £20 cash-back on that model making the total £99.99.
Double cash back on this one now so £79.99! real bargain!
