It's £29.99 for the printer alone, £64 for the printer + the accessories.

You should be voting on whether you can find it cheaper not about how well you posted the deal. Edited the description.

There are some numpties on this site - always quick to criticise before actually giving posters a chance.

You are wrong. If you click the correct buy now box you'll get just the printer at £29.99.

If you actually read the supplied accessories bit on the item page you would see that the printer actually comes with "PG-510 & CL-511 cartridges".

A little ignorant of you to vote cold 'as the description is wrong' so what? It's still a bargain and the lowest price delivered.

Heat added.

Tesco have the same printer for a few p less [and have done for some time] direct.tesco.com/q/R…spx both online and instore [the 270 and 272 are the same model - DSG got their own 'exclusive' model number, but it's just the same really]

Brill reserved one for my mum!

Thanks

Faythur

It doesn't say anything about included cartridges on the tesco page though, has anyone bought it from tesco that can confirm it does actually come with them?

If not the currys deal/price looks the best bet.

u'll pay more in ink

Probably a good deal but I've just bought an SX515W (they're nearly always doing the rounds on HUKD) for £47, Costs more but if you're happy to use compatible inks, they work out very very cheap. Mine work out at 54p a cartidge.

I own this printer have done for about a year and its not bad at all, however just paid more for new ink than what i actually paid for the dam printer. I paid 30 euro's last Jan sales and have just bought the larger inks for £30 combined. Amazon had both for 29.98.

I have got Pixma 210 from Amazon - for about £15 using the Canons cashback. Good printer and various revues confirm this. It comes with b&w and colour cartridges but they are less then half full, pity that cartridges are almost never on sale.

Saw this instore today in Exeter.. did wonder about it...

But I have heard that even the compatible ink is still pricey/sparse.. Also I wanted one with wireless / NIC.

Nice offer though.. not sure on the print quality

very dear carts but canon always produces great printers...

Have you EVER seen a printer which doesn't come with at least an initial … Have you EVER seen a printer which doesn't come with at least an initial set of (part filled) cartridges?Worth checking of course but common sense suggests this is printer (with starter carts) for £29.99 and then they're trying to sell you a bunch of supplies which push it up to £64.Good BASIC printer. It doesn't say anything about included cartridges on the tesco page though, has anyone bought it from tesco that can confirm it does actually come with them?If not the currys deal/price looks the best bet.

these printers are reasonable, however you'll get stung on the cost of replacements, there are no copys for 510 and 511 carts.

I bought one on-line from Currys. £29.99 including delivery (3 days to arrive). Includes black and colour cartridges plus USB and mains lead. I bought mine to work with W7 64 bit edition - the drivers downloaded from the internet when I attached the printer to the USB. The various utility programs on the DVD work fine with W7 64 bit.
