Why are people voting this cold? its this years model, less than 6 month old, with Scan/Fax/Print etc.. and has AirPrint, Google Cloud Print and Print to and From Smartphones?

and the cheapest on the net by £30 from what i have found..

I've just got a PIXMA and it's not as easy to print from smartphones as it makes you believe.

Rather than waiting for me to get it working, she shelled out £8 on an app which solved the issues.

Yeah it is not the cost of the printer that people look at but the INK, the printer could be 50p but if the ink is £30 a cartridge and only prints 5 pages it is not worth it! A good example is my old Lexmark 901 Pinnacle. The 100xl black in cartridge is £20ish but they do a 105xl for £4.99 which prints 501 pages, so it was cheap and economical.
