Seems like a good price
Only 3 left be quick if you want one

Good price, but reduced from £420 my foot!
Also, check the date of manufacture, if you can. early models had a light leak issue and were recalled

Haven't kept up with the Powershot series, but it certainly isn't worth anywhere near £400! I mean, the G9 is poor value IMHO, but you pay for the titanium body etc... Of course they've all been superseded by the Digic IV models now - hence the runout on Digic III models. FOr 6x zoom, IS and manual modes, the 720 IS is much better value, I think.

Not voting on this one. Can't see the value, unless you must have a non-SLR with the vario-angle viewfinder... I'd wait for the S5 IS to come down in price, though.

just the run of the mill point and shoot... not stocked by anyone else... not a popular camera... voting cold...

Whilst I don't think it's a particularly wonderful deal, hence not voting on this one, I've got to disagree with you, it's certainly not a run of the mill point and shoot, and it was definitely a mainstream camera from Canon which is still available from other sources.

If you're interested in this camera, then it might be worth having a look at the Canon Outlet on Ebay as they might sell off some old stock on there.

Agree with the post about the A720is - I've got one and it's a fantastic camera!

Check their feedback first, quite a few un happy bunnies, QS is pretty bad, took 3 weeks and several emails for my camera to arrive.
And anyone trying to find reviews of this camera, it's an A650 IS, not 1S

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the Canon Outlet, I've used them three times in the past and had excellent service each time, cameras delivered very quickly and in as new condition. Otherwise I wouldn't have recommended them.

To be honest for somebody selling about 1500 items a month, I think a feedback of 98.7% is not too bad really!

RRP is inflated, but not by all that much - it's £345.00 at Empire Direct and other catalogue outlets from the same stable.

Street price circa £250, so not a bad deal.

Which best buy - rated 6th overall, so must be a decent camera.

I vote hot.
