An amazing camera for those that know about photography.

The pocket-sized powerhouse:
The PowerShot S90 boasts an incredibly slim profile and lightweight body for pocket-sized convenience, yet packs in advanced capabilities that ensure every image is memorable - making it the perfect everyday camera for people who are serious about great photography. Image quality is superb thanks to the new Dual Anti-Noise System and higher ISO speeds, plus an exceptionally bright f/2.0 lens makes portraits and low-light shots come to life. Photography enthusiasts will love the new control ring at the base of the lens barrel, designed for intuitive, pro-style manual control, plus you can shoot in RAW mode for unlimited creative options. Other features include a high sensitivity 10 Megapixel image sensor, 3.8 x wide angle (28mm) zoom with optical Image Stabilizer (IS), which greatly reduces blur caused by camera shake, a 3.0" PureColor System LCD and Smart Auto with Scene Detection Technology.

good but not great

This is a fantastic camera, but bear in mind that this price has dropped as the replacement for this camera S95 has been out for a few months now.

Excellent camera. Fast lens. Ignore comments from anyone who thinks "10megapixels - no thanks, I can get a 14mp in Argos for £99."
You cannot get better image quality from any other camera that will fit in your pocket, and before anyone says "what about a panasonic LX3/5" - the lens sticks out!

Hot, hot, hot.

The Sony TX5 at Best Buy for £149 is also a good camera with the Exmor R sensor, its also waterproof to 3m, shock + dustproof
