It's not bad....but I like a viewfinder rather than just a screen.....

The Panasonic deal further up also isn't bad if you can live with the compromise of a bridge camera

Can you take pictures of anything or is it just for bridges?

I think that one of the cameras on my Nokia 1020 has slightly more than 20 megapixels. Will this take sufficiently superior pictures to make it worth lugging around with me?

Obviously the 1020 doesn't zoom but it does fit in my pocket and I do usually remember to take it with me...

EDIT: most of my photos are of restaurants and food.

This one doesn't make 'phone calls. So yours wins.

Might buy this!

Good price, but the lack of EVF would be a deal-breaker for me.

Of course not.................................it can be used for viaducts as well

It's in the Argos catalogue instore on a one page promotion for this price so looks like a long term offer I noticed today so should be available for a while rather than a run out and buy. Looks good.

The "Megapixel" rating is simply the physical dimensions of the image and is in no-way related to the quality of the image. A 300MP camera could easily be massively worse than a 10MP camera.

camera on 1020 is probably better than this.... at that focal length
if need more versatility re: zoom etc then this is better overall
(not aimed at you really enverex)

Ah yes, I remember how much fun I had with my Bronica ETRS and some amazing photos that I managed to take with it. The question is whether I want to lug something that big around with me. Whether I would remember to take it with me. Whether I would lose it, or have it stolen. When I was using my Bronica you didn't really have the option of a camera as light and slim as a Nokia 1020. Things have moved on

Which one will you go for, this canon sx410 or the Sony H300, currently cheaper on Amazon?
