Would you be eligible for cashback if purchasing a 650d from digitalrev.com?

I just read the terms and conditions so looks like digitalrev is ruled out

1.4 All products must be purchased within the UK or ROI from a UK or ROI
retailer and must have been supplied and distributed to retailers by Canon
UK Ltd or Canon group companies located in the European Economic
Area. Please check with your retailer that this is the case to help avoid
disappointment.

I assume this cant be used in conjunction with the photography experience pack worth up to £230

canon.co.uk/eos…ce/

Which runs until 30th October?

am i right in thinking you can claim cashback from a single item? only i just bought a 650d the other week from currys so £50 cashback would be bonus!

dammit i dont qualify as i bought it a week earlier

only valid on products purchased between 18/10/12 and 24/01/13

Anyone know of a decent UK based Canon supplier with good prices - looking for the SX50 !!

Hi kwacker ... I struggled to beat Amazon + Canon honour the cashback and they're so good for guarantees I've never had a problem ...

Thanks rogertb/mhuk - Yes I do find Amazon helpful twhen there's issues, which does make all the difference.

What are the cheapest items to buy which will give cashback?

Currently waiting on £50 cash back from Panasonic, and £100 cash back from Dell. Both systems out sourced to other companies, and involved scanning receipts and boxes or sending back old equipment. All at the expense of time and money. Plus waiting for a cheque or giving my bank account number. Why not just lower the price??? Easier all round!

Looking a cheapish telephoto zoom , anyone recommend one

cvp.com are pretty cheap on the lenses

Having issues with canon accepting the serial number of mg8250. Did the online process and the serial I supplied was bounced back twice as not correct. Uploaded a photo of serial on 3rd attempt to prove it. It does seem to be a outsourced foreign company dealing with it. Ended up getting direct contact number, seams they have internal issues verifying serial number. Not really rocket science.

Have you bought your camera from UK-based shop?

Its a inkjet printer bought from amazon, the icing on the cake was the £30 rebate which was also mentioned in the amazon details.

But finally you received the cashback, yes? I mean there are many different situations and problems always happen at some point..

Rebate confirmation finally arrived. That was a little more hard work then expected, why it took 3 serial number sub missions plus a photo to sort out, hopefully they will have sorted out their process and others will be smoother.

Yes finally sorted out, but when you supply the correct serial number to start with you don't expect to be emailed back twice that its wrong. Only after supplying a photo of it and a direct call to them they finally got the hint they were in error and needed to clarify where they were going wrong. I even contacted canon UK technical to confirm i has a correct format serial number.

Have voted hot as its money back in my pocket on top of a good price from amazon

Sorry to read you had problems. Mine £50 (on a 650d) confirmed in under a day which is so much faster than last jan when I did the last winter cash back promo on a Powershot sx220 where you mailed a copy of your receipt in. That took weeks before it was confirmed

Now what's the chances of mailing in my receipt for the DVDs and money off the photography course getting accepted lol. Well I have already had £10 jessop quidco track and used work discount scheme to get £600 jessop gift card at 8% off so this 650d will have cost £492 without resorting to well known HK supplier - yay

Can you use this gift card online or you just reserved items to collect and pay with the card at shop? I have the same scheme at work and I remember some problems with buying online in jessops.

You can use gift cards for collect at store which I prefer as you get Internet price without waiting for delivery as both items I have done this with have been ready in under an hour from shop opening in the morning (i surf for goodies at night lol) Can't fault them as the last item was an 8gb Sandisk pro extreme 95mb sd card that they had online for £15.99. By the time the store opened in the morning the online price was back up to £29.99 and in store it was £39.99 yet they still sold it for £15.99

Got a 1100D with 18-55 from comet the other day. That + this £30 cashback = Less than £130 paid in total. Chuffed
