Showing £59.00..

Showing £59 BUT ALSO STATING 50% OFF which when I went to school makes for £29.50. Just ordered 2.
Can not believe that people are voting this cold when they can't do the math or are reading the price wrong!! This is one hot deal and it is a shame to honest members that people do that.
Showing £59 surely that means it was £118 with 50% off now

No, it means 50% off marked price and the marked price is £59 as you have just seen. As i already stated I HAVE JUST ORDERED 2 so I know that is surely DOES MEAN £29.50 each.

Just to confirm (in a more calm manner) that 50% of the advertised £59 price is deducted at the payment stage of checkout.

In my shocking attempt at a scouse accent:

I started calm when I posted the first Wilkinsons half price deal... needless to say, I am now still calm but bemused by the lack of :-
a) Faith
b) Intelligence
that some people have when they post. The clues are all there, its not even really that cryptic, 50% off marked price is hardly Sherlock Homes territory, the first clue 50% off; the second clue, marked price. If it was marked already at half price then there would be no need to put the aforementioned 'clue'.

I see where you are coming from though and it is clear that you can sense my exasperation. The force is clearly strong with this one
thanks eeyoreworld x
eeyoreworld, could you go through the whole 50% off thing again please, I don't quite get it...

It's easier to put - Discount is applied at checkout.
I just tried it and it's working.
Opt for delivery to store if you have one nearby for cheapest price
hot ordered thanks

Its only half price from the Wilkinsons drive through
Ordered one myself but can't help but worry about the quality at this price!
Genuine price reduction, but don't expect amazing quality. I'd compare this with ones costing 50 to 60 from other suppliers. Beware that this thing is absolutely enormous -you'll need a big garden for it!
Groupon are currently sellng these at an alleged bargain price at 59.95, reduced from an apparant outright lying price of 199.
I got one of these last year for £30 and it's great . The quality is good and it's lasted well.

The only downside is it only tilts one way
Hot, just bought one. In total with delivery its £34.45
Isn't a parasol used to stop sun getting to you?
eeyoreworld, your attitude stinks. What a pompous oaf!

Is that why after nearly 6K posts and almost 5 years of membership you've not posted a single deal?
Heat added £29.50 Delivered to store - Bargain! Thanks
good deal - some stubborn people on here
Ordered, Thanks
Wonder if it's worth waiting to see if it gets reduced further, can't see them shifting 1699, maybe people will be buying them to sit in the garden and shelter from the rain
I got one of these last year for a similar price and it's been great. I doubt they'll get reduced any further as I recall they sold out very quickly last time. A few slabs from B&Q and you've got a giant parasol for under £40.

Hot from me.....

Voting cold for the OP's terrible attitude
looks a decent deal but dont get why the Op got wound up, i have posted deals before abd dont care twoo hoots wether it gets voted cold or hot.

In fact i dont get all this please vote for me malarkey
I may be a little slow here but with the base do you put the 4 blocks over the stand?
Can any owner tell me if two bases are enough weight for stability please.
just ordered 2, great find, been after them for quite a while

Looks like you just put the quadrant things in something like this (ignore dodgy edit):

Page says you need four of them, or four concrete slabs of a similar weight.
Can it also be used as a large umbrella ? (_;)

I have one, and I certainly wouldn't risk it with anything less than the full four base units. These are very large parasols, very prone to any slight wind, and very unstable without proper weighting to the base. Two base units would be very risky indeed.
dont forget 4% TCB great deal as well - vote for the deal

paving slabs also do the trick or you can screw it down if its going on decking like mine or use spikes if on lawn
perfect. measured up and just fits. cheers.
Voted cold as it's showing as £59 for me.

Just to set the record straight, I don't have a bad attitude at all but my stern comments were in relation to around 7 posts which the posters have now deleted that were put on within seconds of me posting saying voting cold as showing full price and link not working (on this and 2 other similar posts).

These people had no intent in buying and were potentially ruining what this site stands for and stopping genuine people seeing a genuine bargain as a hot deal.I have no problem in explaining to people that the discount is applied at checkout and no issue with people who want to ask why is it showing full price but just posting voting cold as showing as full price without checking is spoiling what this site stands for for everyone.

I just want genuine people who want to buy to see this and get it a bit cheaper without these people voting cold for no reason. They are also the type of posters who vote cold and make comments about people's spelling and grammar too which I also find quite awful so I apologise to anyone who thinks my attitude stinks as this is by no means a true reflection of who I am.
