Ordered one, getting delivered on Thursday. For some reason it didn’t change me deliver fee
Glad it's of help... yes, looks like delivery is now free for this item. I actually ordered mine at £34.50 a few days ago and thought I'd post this when I noticed the price drop. They kindly refunded me the difference when I did the online price match thing.
ditto - free delivery! Great price, thanks.
Awesome thanks. Been after this but very expensive.
Great price just ordered and free delivery bargain
Just ordered a set. Thanks OP. Main criticism in the reviews is the actual size when all four are laid out. Just plan to put a planter or two on them .
I got free delivery to hot thanks
Excellent ordered thanks
Bargain and exactly what I need. Thanks!
Perfect can replace my concrete slabs with these now! Been waiting for a cheap set! Thanks for posting.
Bargain, ordered thanks
Does anybody know of these will work with the IKEA cantilever parasols or are they specifically for John Lewis parasols?

Looking at the IKEA website, they have 3 different cantilever parasols on sale. The more expensive seglaro one states that minimum 90kg base needed, so I don't think it would be suitable for that one. The other two baggon and Karlso ones need 50kg, so looks like it could be ok. The online description says this base is 60kg if filled with water, or 80kg if filled with sand.

I've had mine delivered a couple of days ago, but it's still in the box as the weather hasn't been brilliant, so I can't be 100% sure. I'm hoping the base will be ok too as my parasol isn't from John Lewis either, it was one I picked up for £40 from the Jysk outdoor furniture sale.

As others have mentioned, these slabs are massive and don't look that attractive, about 50cm wide each, ie 100x100cm in size once assembled, so do bear this in mind. The idea of putting plant pots on it sounds great!

Glad this has been a useful deal for everyone.. looks like we may get good weather this week to try it out.. enjoy!

This article seems to be quite useful:

I hadn't realised that these bases would cost so much, they're just bits of plastic, so I had initially considered using 4 patio paving slabs. Maybe you could get some smart granite type slabs which would look good.
I didn’t really need them so I bought them anyway
Just ordered, says free delivery for me also.

Hot!
Brilliant. Wanted a set of these, thanks. Ordered

If it's going on a patio, the most discrete way would be to use the same patio slabs so it blends in a little.
Cheers, been waiting for ages for these well overpriced items to become more realistically priced
Bargain Decided I needed a parasol this summer and couldn’t believe that they didn’t come with a base (and then how much the base cost!).
Well spotted - great price. Ordered. Thanks
Order thanks for the posting
Cheers ordered.
Ordered. Thanks.
Seemed out of stock when I looked earlier but back in stock agin now.

Had been looking at them for ages but didn’t want to spend £60+ and ended up using some old paving slabs.

couldn't say no for this price though
OOS online now
Just managed to order one, still saying one in stock

Thanks, I've just updated the post. It's out of stock online now, but there's limited stock in some stores still. Click on the online stock checker on the JL website.
Picked one up from the Cheadle branch they have a few left and other branches too. Not sure why it's set to expired when they have stock. Great price thanks
Anyone got any recommendations for banana style cantilever parasols that fit with these bases
Not 100% sure how they fit, a few that I looked at have one of the 4 base metal legs is longer than the others, looking at the bases it looks like they have a little slot I presume these fit into so don't think the ones with a longer leg would fit, cheers

With the great BH weekend weather, we finally managed to get the parasol and base up and running yesterday. I think this set of bases may still be ok even if one leg is longer. My parasol isn't from JL but it still fits well. There's not much stock left from what I can see, so it's worth phoning ahead before making a special visit to the JL store. Good luck, enjoy the weekend everyone.

Thanks, ah I presumed the bases sat on top of the parasol legs to keep it from moving rather than each side of the legs. i managed to get a set of bases when they were available online at this price so I just need to choose a parasol

Hi. You're welcome. Glad you got a set. There's another photo here which may be a better explanation. The base kind of has flanges which the bases sit over
