Front and rear loudspeakers
Canton's front loudspeakers come in the form of columns or compact satellites, turn the room into a stage and guarantee a broad range of sound. The rear loudspeakers in satellite format give the sound spatial depth and ensure impressive sound effects.

Large centre speaker
The central speakers are the stars of any home cinema system. They transmit up to 70 % of the film and music information and their wide dispersion characteristics provide an optimal sound experience plus outstanding speech intelligibility in all situations.

Powerful active subwoofer
The generously dimensioned subwoofer with its high capacity digital amplifiers and long-throw speaker systems convey the emotion in Canton's movie systems and ensure a solid bass foundation. Thanks to a range of different settings they can be adjusted to suit spatial conditions and personal listening tastes.

If I were spending circa £120 on speakers, I would just buy a Bose or Creative (edited)

    I don't think you'd get a 5.1 Bose system for 120 quid.

My Polko system playing up. Is this a full kit to connect to my TV please or do I need buy an amp or anything else? Also is this good for the price range? Thanks

You will need to buy an amp for this.
It's good for the price. Similar Canton system was my first 5.1 set up and it was many years before I upgraded

Great price, super quality. Absolute steal at this price.

Great compact speakers and sub, and for this price it's a steal. I've only just replaced the 75s (if DPD ever sort out delivery).

If you haven't got the space for larger speakers, or it's not allowed, then these are a great solution. They should also include a couple of wall brackets, or at least mine did back in the day.

Stick to the jamos, I upgraded to kefs and wasn't impressed and am back to the jamos now.

They're great sets these, plenty of power too which is surprising given their size. I've had a set for 3-4 years for a second room and have to say, for the money, they're amazing value. Feel like they outperform the classic kef eggs and are about 1/3 of the size. For that money they're a steal.

Any suggestions on a budget amp?

Is this good enough for the TV / listening to music?
    Avatar
Yes, you'll need a 5.1 amp and cables to connect speakers and any sources to the amp and amp to TV, but for the money and size it's hard to fault.

Any one upgraded from an old Jamo 5.1 speaker set (A102 I think) can tell me if this actually sounds better?

I'm not convinced there has been any true leaps in audio technology in decades.

You definitely wouldn't get a new Bose system for a £120.

Will buy at this price but my toddler will crush it (edited)

Great price, but can't find many reviews or comparisons online?

I found this review from a German AV magazine, no sure how reliable it is but it's something

Can I pair this speaker set up with this please?

Connecting Shield TV pro for 4k and a 4k blu ray player.

    Thanks (edited)
