Canyon Bikes Sale - up to 50% off

Mail-order bikes aren't for everyone, especially when there's no local network to back you up so perhaps this isn't for everyone. If you are a competent mechanic though and you appreciate high-end bikes at bargain prices then this is for you.

Canyon bikes are ridden by many pro teams and offer high specs and low weight for the cash - then you get more off in the sale!

The most expensive bike is still over £6k though and I daresay you can buy a car for that.

Sub 7kg and Campy for 'only' £2k-ish

Canyon bikes arrive virtually ready to ride. If you can fit a wheel you can assemble a Canyon.

Yeah but you may need to make adjustments to brakes / gears etc and a lot of people struggle with that. Not kidding! Met a bloke on holiday with a £2.5k Specialized road bike who couldn't trim his rear mech.

Having said that the 50% off seems to be on accessories with the bikes having much smaller reductions. In Canyon's defence their bikes are good value anyway and aren't excessively marked up to begin with.

My Canyon just needed wheels fitting and the seat post popped in the seat tube. Canyon even supplied a shock pump and a torque wrench.

Had my eye on these for a while. Amazing machines use by 3 TDF teams this year

Dodgy seat post clamps...cracking frames...Google it. That's all I'm saying

I think there's only XL sizes left that's reduced on certain models.

Just like every other make,,I've heard specialised, giant, boardman,Neil Pryde having cracked frames, it'll be down to the odd frame, the company should replace them, even in this months MBR the orbea frame cracked and the company were aware of it and sorted it out, it happens unfortunately.

I am the proud owner of a Endurace CF with the Ultegra groupset. I spent about 6 months looking around for a bike before I settled on a Canyon. Excellent value & as it's been said previously by andybrute, they are used by World Tour teams (Movistar went from Pinarello's to Canyon).

waiting for the post were someone says... "why pay all that money when you can get a bike from tesco for £89"
nice find op heat added.

Is there anything on their site that is 50% off? Looks to me that its around 10% at best.

I saw a couple that were around 30% off but they are selling out quick. At that price you couldn't buy the components on their own.

I think I must need glasses I read that as Crayon bikes.

That's because when you can afford such a bicycle you can afford people to service your car.
Personally, I learned a bit of bike mechanics a long time ago, as I wouldn't want ot get stranded somewhere remote, unable to swap a tyre.

Most of the bikes are several thousand pounds.....

COLD

Looks like they ran out of metal for the seat post on this one. No wonder they're selling it off cheap(er)!

Mail-order bikes aren't for everyone

Mail order is the best way to go as far as I am concerned. A lot of people swear that buying LBS (local bike shop) is better, but in my experience the vast majority of them are just expensive, understaffed and not necessarily competent - just there to prey on low level riders.

are these a good bike? my bf is after one for christmas and i really dont know what yo get him. my budget is around 800

Why pay all that money when you can get a bike from tesco for £89?

I do roll my eyes sometimes, People think it's so stupid when someone spends 2 grand on a bike cos it's there hobby, Or they use it all the time, Yet a LG 55" Tv at £1600 bought by average Jo get's to over 1500°.

That may be a great price for the telly and worth every penny, But not to the person who spends 4 or more hours a day on a bike and not stuck in front of the telly, Different people have different priorities, My friend just spent 2 grand on a box to connect to his Rega Record deck, An eye roller to most people, And me, But worth every penny to him, Cos it's his hobby, And his money.

Cheers for the link, I couldn't find it either til you added the link.. ;-).. ah then I see it, a compact chainset!!! At this pricepoint!!! theres the 257 saving - replacing the conti tyres and the kiddies chainset... it was all looking rather good until that bit..

Having said that, it can be specced with an adult chainset and then 2xl becomes available in addition to 3xl and xs...

be careful though, as the tyres may be as overinflated as their profit forecasts....
