Some Northern people do call it asdas, its no big deal now is it, i mean really!

It's just annoying, and I like to pick people up on it, which is equally annoying, so we're even. :-D

Now that is one great deal!

Grammatically being correct, it's "as in 'going to Tescos?'" Spot the difference!

i second that

hot deal i might go tae adsas

heat and rep added, thanks

Check the sugar content on these - last time I looked it was about 70% of an adult RDA, something like that. So might not be the best thing to give your kids too often.

Ps. TESCOS.

i call it asdas and i call it tescos, im not from up north i just do it with ou thinking though i dont write. :whistling:

oh and the deal is cool, for my other half (not my child cos though they contain less **** than most juice drinks, i dont agree with giving squash of any kind to kids, no need its just full of ****) he'll love these with his luch, specially if i freeze them so that by the time he drinks it on way HOME itll still be fairly cool

The Fen folk round here call Boots "Boots's" which drives me just as nuts.

Think of me when you're all supping your Capri Sun's cos I make the damn things in Milton Keynes!
At work now, running off a nice fresh batch of Summer Berries (the best flavour IMO)!

hmm, they are pure juice with no added sugar - so I doubt it would be 70% just from the fruit.

People round her say they are going to 'the Asda' but they never go to 'the Tesco'.

This thread has taken an unexpected direction: I confidently foresaw hundreds of posts pointing out how we are condemning our children to an early death if we let them drink a single Capri Sun, and probably feed them exclusively out of McDonalds into the bargain. We get language lessons instead, isn't life surprising?

Here in Plymouth people say "goin up asders to do me lotteries" and "goin tescos"!

Forget about the Asda's in Clapham Junction. Never has any of the deals posted here. And to be honest the deals over there arent really goood at all.

they are not pure juice...

i have a box of capri sun orange and capri sonne orange here:

...bout 12% is from concentrate and only 7% of that is orange...but 70% sugar is way off aswell box says sugar 25% (21g) rda for a 5-10 year old...tho they do a fresh orange one (or they used to) but i dont have any of them here to give the figures

anyways capri-sonne is much nicer but not much info on the sugar in them!

Bristolians call it ASDAL.

These are great for keeping packed lunches/picnics fresh.

Just freeze and pop them in the lunchbox. At lunchtime they'll still be lovely and cool and you sandwiches will still be fresh!

Aye, fair enough - I checked on the Capri Sun website and that's what it says. I bought one about a month ago though and was very surprised at the amount of sugar in it - sure it was more than 25%. Anyway, fair do's.

If you check COKE however, that has about the same amount of sugar in, and we all know what Coke does to your teeth eh? 25% of RDA or not...

capri sun still better than coke regardless of the sugar content being equal. caffene in coke
