Same as the Wii U but with levels featuring from Mario Odyssey.
At that price I can see it flying off the shelves. For me, I will not be picking it up as I bought it on Wii U but Heat added for a good price!

GAME's prices will come down in the next few weeks. ShopTo had it for £44.85 when I looked yesterday and their Facebook page was saying that it was a placeholder until the receive further clarification. I would imagine GAME will sell it for £34.99.

Given the number of WiiU ports they really should have an "upgrade" price for those of us who have bought them all once already. If it was say £10 to get a digital version for your Switch if you had it already showing on your Wii U Nintendo account history then I would be tempted to grab some again.

Mario Kart 8, Pokken Tournament, Bayonetta 1 + 2, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad, Donkey Kong and Lego City so far, that's a lot of games to buy twice.
tempted but dunno as got it for my wii u
Is this game any good?

Is this game any good?

It's easy if you just want to finish it, but can be fun and quite challenging if you want to go for 100%.
Don't forget many more people will be switch owners than were WiiU owners. Most will be seeing these titles for the first time. I agree we should be given the priveldge of a upgrade price however Nintendo love you to buy the same thing multiple times if they can get away with it!

It's great.

Hopefully this is paving the way for a sequel, completed this on the U so no point in double-dipping for a (Nintendo's own word) "few" levels based on Odyssey.

"Quite"!? 'Mummy-me Maze Forever' made me cry.
Switch is beginning to become annoying. These ports are well over priced. I know it has a few extra levels but seriously it's getting beyond a joke.

couldn't agree more. what next? Mario 3d land and yoshis Wolly world? Can almost guarantee it lol. can't understand how the switch is selling like hot cakes and the Wii u didn't. I own both and so far the switch hasn't offered anything too appealing to me other than Mario odyssey. although I do think Mario 3d world is a better game also. we need to see more Nintendo exclusives not re makes. so far the catalogue of switch games has been poor as far as I'm concerned
Glad to see a rough price on this already, I’m hoping it will be up for pre-order on amazon for the same price.

I don’t think that this sort of price is bad for a port personally, and they’re not really meant for people who have it on other consoles, more for those who haven’t played the game before.
I am tempted, purely because the resell value holds. But just don't know if this is a good price yet or not.

I'm much waiting on Project Octopath Traveller as my highlight for the switch. But I gotta find other games to go along with it.

I can't decide (babbling to myself).
Amazing games made for a console that barely sold and no one got to play - even though those that did say they were amazing - new console sells brilliantly - so those brilliant games are taken and built on with extra on the new console giving people a chance to play those amazing games - people moan and use the word “port” over and over.... (Nintendo gripes)

Xbox have backward compatible and burnout out paradise is on it - they release burnout HD remake and same people get excited even though they got it free with GWG.

Seems logical Jim
Lol at all the salty people on here.

Switch has already outsold Wii U, most of these games were bottle-necked sales wise by the install base on the U (I owned a Wii U as well) so it makes perfect sense to release these games with enhancements and additional content, look how well they're all selling too, it makes sense. Also consider the fact that all these ports aren't holding back any other games releasing, they're all done by smaller teams.

Besides, have you not played Odyssey, Zelda (Simulateanous release and objectively the better way to play the game), ARMS, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, Mario rabbids and other third parties as well as looking forward to Smash/Bayo 3/Metroid Prime/Pokemon and probably Animal crossing too?

If you don't want ports, don't buy them??

They are there for all those that didn't get a wii u.

I've picked up a few but won't be getting them all.

The switch has a great collection of games. Just enjoy them!
Great game, but £31.85 for a port that was sold at a slightly less than normal price on the Wii U is a poor show from Nintendo.

I would buy a Switch, but I own all the games I want to play (except Mario Oddyysey) on the Wii U!

If people say the Switch has great games... why did everyone ignore the Wii U, they have almost the same library!

I agree with all the above posters, Nintendo need to stop all of this porting business. But not before Pikmin 3. And Wind Waker HD. And Wonderful 101. And Xenoblade X...
Nintendo know how to play the game. The catalogue for the Wii U took ages to build up to a decent amount, and that failed miserably. Now they are using that failure to their advantage and building a large catalogue of games on the Switch, to satisfy all owners.

It makes sense for them to do it, and it's working. I personally have only bought Mario Kart 8 deluxe out of the ports. As I have all of the games on the Wii U, I don't need to buy them.
paid less for this at launch and even then i thought i was paying too much
It was a good game on Wii U. If I remember rightly it forced you to use the gamepad screen for controller. There was really no need for that, although there was the odd touch pad screen level, like the mine cart bonus stage thing. My only other criticism of the game would be it was a bit short.

Is just a question now of do I really want to buy what is effectively the same game again, but with sharpened graphics and an extra bit or to such as a few new levels.... OR do I want to save the £32 and not feel ripped off, I am leaning towards the latter option myself.
I have it for my wii u but it’s still sealed. More likely to play it on the switch but agree with others, this should be £19.99.
Not out until July either, a lot can change between now and then so I don’t think I’d pre-order this.

As someone who owns a Wii U it just feels as if money has been wasted because pretty much every exclusive worth playing seems to be getting ported
I'm really happy with the ports, because like a lot of people...I never bought a Wii-U (was always waiting for that price drop that never came).

Super Mario Maker next please!!!
