Looks good. Only problem is I'll have forgot about it by then!

Great - we paid about £20 for some of this a couple of years ago when we'd bought a used car previously owned by a farmer!

Usually you're best to change the filter before trying one of these things. My air conditioning on a car I bought smelt of stinky feet and I took the filter out and it had lots of rotting leaf debris etc in it. Put a new filter in it and it now smells fine.

Was probably your feet, John. :-D

(I can't imagine why anyone would want to associate themselves with such a jerk tbh, unless you ARE him?)

Its always worth using one of these once a year as it kills the bacteria in the vents something the filter wont do

What a tool you are , did i say it kills people in my post, i said it kills the bacteria which is the common case of the smells in the air con system, think before you post !

I think he meant the vent bacteria kills people - Legionnaires disease for example. But that isn't killing thousands.

is it difficult to clean it? how easy to use is this product?

You just put all the windows up, put the air con on , push down the lever on the can then it will empty in the car , takes about 10 mins to do

Don't bother. Just use the low odor anti bacterial sprays you buy in the supermarket. I do it every year and it works perfectly.

Do they cost less than 1.99?

Looking at some of the argumentative posts in here, I thought I'd stumbled into a cheap chicken thread!

As far as im aware that method wont go deep into the vents, it will using the Aldi stuff and putting on "recirc" on the Air Con it will as it keeps recirculating the air in the car

Yeah the Aldi stuff is a "bomb" you set if off, get out the car and close the door, with the aircon on recirc and the bomb spewing out it's stuff for about 10 minutes. You just cant do that with a normal aerosol.

Original Poster

Yeah i thought it would be difficult with a normal aerosol

is this just for air con or also for normal car air vents/fans? Would it be better than my industrial ozone generator?

Is this offer just for today (Monday 5th) or *from* today? Was going to go tomorrow...or is it likely to be sold out anyway by then...?

Original Poster

Its from today, they usually have quite a few

Sold out in Aldi in Birmingham Great Barr and Cannock. Got the last one in Moxley. Worked a treat!!!

Have seen one on ebay for £4.99, which I've bought for my missis's car! Helped with the smelly car smell!
