A very good product, ordered it on a Thursday night and was with me by Saturday! I have no complaints at all, does exactly what I want it to do and will help me from not having a dead phone between journeys! Impressive!

Oh,i wish you would just wait for a day.Anyway good luck with your one.

I'm after one that is 1.0A ie for Galaxy S3, what is the output on this as using 500ma hardly charges when plugged and using at the same time!

Thanks op ordered.

I have ordered another one just incase

Cheers, ordered. Always need one of these before I've ended up buying one so thought I might aswell get one for the sake of it.

Voted hot but can someone explain how they can sell and deliver for 75p

charger, envelope , postage , over heads - Amazon must want 15% ish?

Be really careful with cheep car chargers. Lots lack basic electronics internally, containing little more then a resistor and an led.

Not saying that there is anything wrong with these, and but if you fry your phone or have an electrical fire because you left it plugged in it could cost you a lot more then the price of a quality car charger.

just ordered 2 great find heat added

Cheers OP, just ordered one as a back up

Is it my imagination or did that sound rather sinister?

Usually these are easy enough to take apart for a peek. I have found one that contained just a 0.1 amp regulator (78L05), with lots of markings on the little circuit board for missing components, and several others that have quite a lot of circuitry including an 8 pin IC. Price doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. I've never seen one with just a resistor to drop the power to 5 volts.

The fact that its an in-car charger suggests it wont be on in the house 24/7, just used for journeys so cant see it being a problem for ocassional use

Thanks

Just seen your question and specs on label give DC input 12-24v (cars and trucks)
Output Voltage DC4.2V-10v 600mA Max 750ma

Works fine with HTC Desire HD and keeps up with power drain when using phone for talk and Sat Nav at same time.

Hope that helps you.
