Good idea, wonder if they would work on my MGB chrome bumpers? Thank you

I put these over my parking sensors and now I keep hitting everything. Bah !

These are a good idea, there are so many people it seems that gauge how far back they can go by when they see the other car moving. oO

Seems like a good idea, thanks OP

Very handy, just ordered two packs - need them with spatial awareness idiots, like the plonker who bumped my car yesterday attempting a space which was far too small!

Banned

heat and handy

How long before these come with LEDs?

Bumper guards? That's the whole point of having a bumper in the first place! Do they also sell stickers I can put on my cycling helmet so it's protected incase I fall off my bike..?

You have a bumper to bump into things? Makes sense (_;)

Cool trolling bro

I've had these on my polo for 8 years and they've stayed firmly stuck on and have saved the odd scrape many times. As i live in london and park on the street I would recommend - at £2 a bargain.

it all went wrong when they made body colour bumpers . it didn't matter before and now people think its part of the main car and go nuts when its touched .

Love it ^

People go nuts I'm presuming because there's a cost involved in repairing/replacing bumpers - so spending £2 to potentially alleviate damaging said bumper works out to be cost effective - I guess!!

you probably don't drive or if you do your car isn't that valuable to you... comparing protecting a Car Bumper (that has a huge cost in fixing it) with a helmet (that costs 10/20quid)

very true, but when repairs cost as much as they do, it kinda makes sense why they go nuts..

Some unbelievable comments on here,. How can they stop damage to your bumper, do you really think that a sticky pad will work.....people need to learn to drive of they are hotting things or get their eyes tested, reason they are reduced as they won't work. As the Dragons would say these are something that shouldn't have been invented and for that reason I am out .

Have to love the features, no mention of protection

you are in the wrong website when you are suggestion this has a price reduction due to not working!! seriously??
and this is to protect from light scratches of course and ppl aren't stupid as you trying to imply ...

Wahoo my local store has them collect after Tuesday, so I've ordered 5 sets stick them on my arms and legs I'm always banging in to things, save on the bruises.

I'm being deadly serious, and everyone's taken it as a joke My point still stands though; why do you think a bumper is called a bumper?

Come on then explain how a piece of sticky rubber can stop another car a wall or something else from scratching it. If people think this will work then the world has gone crazy.

So to stop my bumper looking ruined and scratched up I stick some tacky looking plastic on them? It's so obvious!!!

I drive one of these ... "Problem Solved"

Don't forget these class as a modification to your car ... you will need to let your insurance company know

So, how does a car bumper protector work? A car bumper protector works by blocking bumps and thumps, so that the bumper protector will take the brunt of the impact force. For purposes of protecting the painted surface, a high quality rubber is recommended. - physics?? try passing a screw-drive thru an area where you don't have this rubber protection and then do the same with this rubber protection on and take some pictures. Of course you will need to put it in the right place and also be lucky the next driver doesn't it you on a rubber protection free zone

You put the on the corners because when you shoehorn yourself outta tight spot there's sometimes some low velocity contact. Also it dulls the contact a bit so you can escape anyone's attention. Also to who ever made that ridiculous 'people should learn to drive' comment if everyone drove perfectly we largely wouldnt need insurance...

Because some people insist on colour coded/painted bumpers... stupid IMO.

Or just live with the tiny scratches... but somehow people go mental and feel that's spending hundreds is somehow worth the cost

I'd rather have scratches then let this come anywhere near my car

Better to buy Paint Protection Film from 3M. Use it on my bike on the chainstay and wherever cables rub. Pretty tough stuff. Wish I used it for where it's intended...on the car....as I now have a lovely scape on my bumper :@

You sound like a guy that regularly scrapes other peoples car and then proceeds to say it's just a scratch and it adds "character"... hmm :P

why comment if you're not interested. This site is like a school playground.

Yes, a much better solution, thanks.

Buy these and make any car look like it's owned by a pensioner.. Finish the look with a nodding dog, window wind deflectors, excessive red reflectors and waterproof seat covers

Anyone know where I can get protectors to keep them looking nice?
