The easier, cleaner and safer way to jump-start your car.

Flat battery? Now there is no need to mess about with battery jump-leads, or even to lift your bonnet and get your hands dirty! Simply plug one end of the Charge & Start into the 12V cigarette lighter socket of each car, and at the flick of a switch it will recharge the flat battery and allow you to drive away after only a few minutes. No mess, no fuss and no mechanical knowledge required.

Nice.

few mins lol, try min of 30 mins thats if battery is ok ish, for a totaly flat battery you would need to leave on for hours.

just look at the cable and then that of a good set of jump leads, and then you will see why it will not JUMP start a car.

Dont waste your money get a set of jumpleads

just to add most cars you will need the ignition fully on so the cig lighter is live, the ignition curcuits and lights could use more power than this unit can give brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The correct way to start another car is to connect the good car battery via jump leads to the flat battery, leave for 5 minutes or so, then disconnect the leads. then try to start up up the car on it's own battery.

Several reason why you should do this no other way.
1: You could damage the ECU or any other electronic equipment on either car (very expensive)
2: If you try to many times to "jump start" the car, the cables will get hot, especially on the cheap brands

Most of the "Jump leads" you see sold, are called "booster cables" meaning you don't jump start.
Most flat batteries are not completely flat, so they are require a few minutes of top up.

The item that is listed, is used in this way,the only slight problem - the fuse in the cigarette lighter is normaly only around 15 amp and could blow, a direct connection to each battery is better, as long has you just boost, NOT jump

Expect to pay upto £40 for good quality set of jump leads.

These are rubbish, stick to jump leads.

They never been around, when, I have had a flat battery! :x:p

not a good idea realy because it would take for ever for the power to be transfered to the battery..

I have heavy duty jump leads. As soon as you put them on literally in 5 secs it would fire up a completely dead battery.

So don't bother buying cheap jump leads to because they take forever to charge the battery from past experience.
