Shows as £45.99 but you get an extra 10% off if you during checkout you move the mouse outside the window as it thinks you're not going through with it.

Got this for a rental from Geneva in January. Decided to go for the year as it wasn't much more than doing it for 7 days. Will be used for the odd weekend hire in UK and maybe a couple long weekends abroad. I've used them before but never had to claim. Covers excesses up to £6,000.

Sign up through Quidco for 21% cash back too.

I hope this helps someone. It it far far cheaper than buying the excess waiver at the counter when you pick up your car. Peace of mind too.

- Europe Territory Only
- £6,000 Excess Cover (£6,000 single incident limit)
- Covers damage to bodywork, windscreens, tyres, roof and undercarriage
- Covers up to 9 named drivers in the rental agreement
- Covers Local in-Country Rentals
- No distance restrictions from main residence
- Price includes Insurance Premium Tax (IPT)
- Multi-trip policy - take as many as you want!
- 65 Day Continuous Cover on any one rental agreement
- Towing and Breakdown cover included as standard!

Hugely useful. Heat. Anyone know if this would also work with garage courtesy cars? Excess on them is usually eye - watering.

Wondered that myself but in the T&Cs it excludes loan cars. However, some garages treat it as a rental so if you fill out rental paperwork then I reckon you'd be golden.

@steveyboy79 if you have a rental agreement and most garages do issue one for you to sign, then this will cover any excess. I buy one every year and it saves you a fortune.
insurance4carhire slightly cheaper @ £39.99 with possible 19.23% Quidco.

Good call. Would need to compare levels of cover. Too late for me but may help others.
