* Seems the £12.99 Rose/Silver version is out of stock - but the £14.99 two-tone Silver/Gold is still on ebay (8 Available - 16th August): ebay.co.uk/itm…793

Yes, it's a repost but I feel they're worth highlighting as they're great watches, bargain for the price and look much more expensive. Caravelle are a Bulova brand, owned by Citizen - comes with a 3 Year Manufacturer's Guarantee. 30M Water Resistance. And it has a working Chronograph function.

Condition: New with tags

£14.99 for Two-Tone Silver/Gold, Model No: 45L136

£12.99 for Silver/Rose, *NOW OOS* Model No: 45L143

These watches have a working Chronograph function (many cheapies have fake Chronos), feel solidly-built, and don't have a tinny, clanky band like the £2-odd Geneva one I used to wear (it was a test purchase for fun, and it fell to bits!).

How much adjusting the strap?

I've seen reviewers of these state they've taken theirs into Argos - not something that I did - impossible to say as prices vary in different jeweller's.

Why keep re-posting the same stuff? It is easy enough to search for old posts and just clutters the site.

You can repost after a month - not trying to steal anyone's glory, just thought they were worth mentioning. Was talking about them on a Michael Kors watch thread last night hotukdeals.com/com…131 and it was worth a repost..

(Funnily enough, I can see a ton of my old Deal posts have alerts on the new website today - the site now seems to auto-expire threads after 2 months - afaik, the one-month repost rule still applies?).

It's not against the rules, these watches haven't been posted again and again, unlike some things on HUKD! And, if the new site is now auto-expiring old threads, surely the site isn't getting cluttered...

I actually posted the links to the (over a month old) original threads, for transparency - on my Deal post. I commented on one of those threads that I felt these watches were overlooked..rather unfairly.

I own, and wear, this Caravelle (all-rose colour/crystal embellished face) - bought around March, here - hotukdeals.com/dea…094

Sorry if I've annoyed anyone, but I had good intentions!

Or for 1.59 you can adjust the strap yourself, and change it whenever you want i.e. maybe over christmas?

it isn't that hard of a thing to learn, just make sure you push the pin in the direction of the arrow.

I'm all for doing it yourself, but those things are awful (being a HUKD lemming I bought myself the more comprehensive Chinese-made watch repair kit you can get for a few £ more). That thing fell apart after taking a few links off and I ended up taking it to a local jeweller (for free, as mum knows him, but still a pain as I had to travel and wait a week).

Worth a go if you're feeling adventurous (how to adjust with basic tools) - edited to add a more appropriate video (she's actually adjusting an MK-knockoff watch, but it has similar links)

I have that exact blue watch resizer and it works perfectly fine, I have resized everything from my daily seiko, to family members omega, to my girlfriends rotary. Sure it isn't the best, but it is safe enough to know you won't easily damage the watch. You can do it with a pin and a hammer, but one slip and you have a nasty gash in your bracelet.

Also that video is the wrong one for this type of watch, this watch has a push pin design, so this video is how to resize *this* watch, also happens to be using the tool I posted earlier, and that is the only tool you need, no screwdriver or hammer etc.

Just sayin' cos lots of HUKDers have said the same about that small blue tool. Obviously it's not a lot of money wasted if you wish to give it a go, but I found it useless.

As for the watch adjustment video clip, I have a few bookmarked. I've edited the post and added a more appropriate video - obviously I posted the wrong one - oops (I tried to adjust my Caravelle myself, but with the £1.59 tool - as mentioned).

From looking at the purchase history for this item, someone bought 30 of the 45L136, then 7, so it's all gone offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/…564
