Yet they miss the most common name for these - a valve 'chuck'.

It's so it shows up in searches if you don't know what it's called. Bit like on eBay.
Thanks

Thanks this is great - I didn't even know these things existed. I have problem with my pump which I have to screw on and losers loads of air when unscrewing. This looks like a perfect solution
Not quite sure how you fix the air pipe onto this as it's a screw thread! Do they have a female connector to attach it to?
there is no use for this in a car battery compressor and also useless for a tyre inflator with gauge unless you want to attach it direct to a proper hose or make an unsuggested modding to a tyre inflator with gauge. It is not made for fixing

I don't *thinK* it's a screw thread. I think it's there to provide grip. But I could be wrong . . .
To be used on the car of the neighbor's you dont like :/

Sorry the mods, helpful as ever, decided to remove my detailed photo and replace it with a side view showing no detail. Now reverted.

It basically clamps onto the valve stem.

Truth be told a lot of the stuff direct from China costs less, and is better quality that stuff from U.K. with mark-up.

Example: Show me an armoured waterproof Samsung/Apple phone with 10,000 mAh battery, walkie talkie, Full HD etc. for £220.

I don't say you are wrong quite the opposite. But there are so many deals and good prices the hud would be full with these and that would make a mess here with hundreds of litle items from china. I personally think it is not the best practice but it's probably up to the management here lol
My missus just got all excited that she'd found a "clip clamp" on Hotdeals.

Naturally, I've had to put her right.
I paid a little extra for the Priority shipping (5-12 business days), yet they took a full 5 working days to even ship it. Will have to see how quickly it's actually delivered.

Well if you're in a rush, I'm sure Machine Mart sell them for £19.99.

You don't need to get all defensive It's worth setting expectations for people that check out these threads.
Arrived this morning, fitted it on the end of a Ring Tyre Inflator that had got cross-threaded. Makes it so easy now to attach and remove with minimal pressure loss.
38174809-dT3F2.jpgGlad I bought a second one for the old man, who was struggling a bit screwing the inflator hose onto his tyre valves.

Anything at this price I routinely by 2 or 3, because they're bound to get misplaced and always good to have spares.
