A: (Here comes) Bod

Sponsored by Pepsi?

1 reviewer says no indication of compliance with EN50291 or a Kite mark....not looked myself though

Look at the episode of bbc’s fake Britain where these did not work.
you won’t be buying cheap Chinese rubbish any time soon.

I'd avoid amazon or ebay for these they are full of fakes

The only way you can test properly is to have some carbon monoxide to hand, if it goes off then great but if it doesn’t then surely amazon should be held responsible for allowing these for sale.

Lots of similar looking ones were pulled by eBay some time ago after a tv program tested them and found they either didn't ever go off or the detection was so poor you would likely be dead by the time they triggered.
Would avoid these if you value your life and that of your family.

Yep. Confirmed. Fake looking CE mark on the packaging & no hint of compliance with EN50291.
Sending back with a recommendation they stop selling them.
