Ummm 385 dollar value my left nut

I'd normally vote anything humblebundle as hot, but just found out they've been bought by IGN and their privacy policy was amended in September to say they can now sell all your personal info to 3rd parties.

V. Poor in my opinion. Hate bundles that have no tier system, especially when they've got games that have already appeared, Grey Goo was literally in last week's bundle!

Some decent games, but I unfortunately I already have the majority of the good games so cannot justify such a high price for the remaining. Think most people will be in the same situation.

I very much want to buy, but it's not as easy to justify as it could be as I already own somewhere around half of the 'big' games.

That aside, though, this is a great bundle for the price. For those who do buy, if you end up with any spare keys, donations to my weekly giveaways are always very welcome!

A lot of great games on there. Unfortunately own most of the big ones. Voted hot

ummmm ermmmm - only a few key things want on there......ummmmm prob not worth it....I think (a bargain for those that have none of it tho)

Only really interested in Darkest Dungeon and Starbound ...guess I'll give this week a miss

Err, what? Not purchased a bundle for a while but do have a monthly sub, may look at cancelling.

imgur post that alerted me to it.

Great bundle for those who don't own the games, literally doesn't matter at all that they were bought by IGN, this kind of hipster hate is pointless.

Only want stardew valley and have most of the other games which is annoying.

Haven't the vast majority of these been in other bundles in the lowest/$1 tier before? Stardew, Darkest Dungeon, Minecraft and Starbound are in the higher tiers usually, but overall it still seems to be just a collection of games that have been in bundles before.

Starbound

Darkest Dungeon

Minecraft: Story Mode

Stardew Valley

The above four, for £22.91 is a bargain. Give the other games away or sell them on G2A.

No.

Of those four, Darkest Dungeon and Starbound have never previously been bundled, Stardew Valley has only been in the similar 'Freedom Bundle' from the start of the year and a Humble Monthly, and Minecraft: Story Mode has been bundled once, in the top tier.

Several others are new to bundles.

Compared to the usual contents/price of a top-tier Humble Bundle, this is, if anything better value.

And as above, we've had a similar bundle in the past.

Reviews (by Metacritic, then Steam):

Aside from those games highlighted previously and the top 7 in the above list, Duck Game (mid-tier in a previous bundle), Shadowrun Returns, Move or Die, Magicka and Lakeview Cabin Collection have Very Positive or higher user reviews.

Selling is against the TOS (last I looked).

I'm only interested on darkest dungeon as I already have all the rest. Can someone pm me if you want to exchange darkest dungeon key with another game. I got quite a lot game to trade

Not strongly regulated. I bought another game from eBay which turn out to be humble bundle key. I'm sure many ppl does that

Whos T&Cs?

Not worth it at all lmao

Humble's T's & C's. I'm not saying that people don't sell them anyway, or that it might in fact be legal in the EU "EU court legalises second-hand software".

From their Top 20 FAQ:
"Humble Bundle products are for personal use only. We do not allow selling or redistributing keys from your purchases. You can gift individual keys to friends using our gifting system..."

Terms of Service
(xiii) sell, assign, rent, lease, act as a service bureau, or grant rights in the Products, including, without limitation, through sublicense, to any other entity without the prior written consent of such Products’ (defined below) licensors;

Mmmm....mehhh...?

It is all for charity (e.g. Save the Children), with no Humble or developer cuts... That said, Duck Game, Darkest Dungeon and Magicka are all I'd want from this (and Lakeview maybe).

On the 1st December we are due a Yogscast Christmas charity thing (see Jingle Jam 2016) with another large collection of keys for charity, so maybe that's why Humble have this running for only 7 days.

Their terms have been that way since at least Dec 2016. Go check the waybackmachine linked in one of the comments from the imgur post (although the direct link didn't work, you can easily navigate there yourself)

Personally, I'm not in the slightest bit worried as just a tiny amount of research shows this has been blown way out of proportion. If humblebundle/IGN was a person, it would be bordering on libel in my humble opinion.

Sure, their terms are scummy regarding data usage but that's the modern world à la facebook, google, etc.

How can it be libel? You're assuming IGN actually HAS a reputation to endanger

IGN plans to endbadgers confirmed. Print it

Seriously though you have a point. I just think this particular thing is a bit bandwagoning the IGN-will-ruin-humble theory. I prefer to at least give them a chance (mostly because I love humblebundle admittedly)

I hope they don't ruin it. Humble and Bundlestars are the only 2 half decent ones left imho and bundlestars is very hit and miss lately. Humble I always used to go T3 but lately... meh. Regarding bundlestars, wtf is that name change all about? I never understand why a well known brand that is doing reasonably well does shit like that.

Yeah definitely the best discoveries I made since getting into PC gaming was humble & bundlestars. Most of my games have been bought from one or the other. I don't think IGN will jump onboard and rock the boat too much since humble was a working business doing pretty well so i think it'll probably be okay.. for now anyway.
The bundlestars name change was a bit strange yeah.. guess it's a bit more snazzy name Fanatical or whatever. Sounds like an e-sport team or something to me

They no longer have to be tied to/associated with selling bundles with Fanatical as their name. Maybe individual games will be more their thing?

Humble are big, but I think the IGN purchase will be a hindrance on their growth.

They've been selling more than just bundles for quite a while, so yep, removing that implication from their name makes sense.

Yeah it did occur to me that dropping bundles from their name lets them be more of a regular store so i guess that's what they're going for. More marketable name too i assume

I see the logic but to me thats like DFS advertising sofas and not mentioning they have a sale on (which obviously they would have)

Where are the new bundles at dammit!!!

Don't expect to see a new bundle until the Steam and Humble Store sales have finished.
