50% off a range of clothing and other items.
Ok, so it's still quite pricey for a lot of stuff. But if you like Carhartt gear then this is a great opportunity to buy some of their stuff.
* I couldn't find an end date listed anywhere on the site for this sale, if anyone notices it and wants to update me feel free.

I know what you mean about price, but this is the cheapest I've seen their stuff.
A pretty big range is half price, and "better" really depends a lot on taste. The European Carhartt WIP is a fashion brand 1st, with a utility edge to it, not to be confused with the U.S based Carhartt work-wear brand.
I personally don't vote hot or cold on items I know I am not into, but that might just be me.
I get my stuff now sent from America even with tax & p&p its cheaper & far superior than the European stuff.
Most of the American gear is made in Mexico were as I think the European is Asian.
Any particular website you use?
I know what you mean and I've been a little afraid ordering from the states due to the import tax etc. can you please tell me where you are ordering from? is it Carhartt official american site or are you buying from another US stockist?
Thanks
I was using Sierra Trading but then about 6 months ago they said Carharrt had put a block on selling their stuff to Europe. They are marked US Sales only now on site.
You CAN get round this using a parcel forwarding service (and maybe lose the tax?) but I haven't tried it yet. Sierra actually recommended it to me but I can't remember the name of it.
Americans simply don't put up with terrible quality like we do. They would reject clothing we happily accept.
Dickies is 'ok' and a next best for me but you can compete with Carharrt I don't think iv ever thrown out a pair of jeans! Not that I can remember.
I have found the Carhartt WIP clothes I have bought to be quite different from the US Carhartt work wear. The style and cut of WIP is a lot more to my tastes. I bought a few of the US t shirts and they were like you said, really heavy cotton, but I found the quality of the print on it to be a bit rubbish. Also watch out if you are ordering from the US, I bought medium and got something more like an XXL. I have always found WIP t shirts and jackets to be great quality and really comfortable too, even if they are a bit pricey.
But I already said it, they are two different companies. One is fashion oriented and the other work wear.
I am a XXL or XXXL I dont even think the European stuff comes in XXXL and the XXLs are sometimes very small.
Are people saying that the stuff you buy from Carhartt WIP for the Uk is too big or too small?
ive always found carhartt clothing to be slighty larger than other brands in small
Carhartt WIP (Work in Progress)
the Carhartt clothes that you find in shops like Aspecto, Cult, Size etc here the UK

sizes are what you would expect them to be.
Carhartt (U.S)

- work wear -
sizes are huge in comparison to UK high street clothes.
A quick break down of the companies on wikipedia
Hope that makes it clearer
