Lidl are currently doing 8 cans of Carlsberg for £4.49! They are the big 500ml cans too!

(That's £1.12 per litre, for comparison purposes)

Our local Tesco express is charging over £4 for only four cans...and they are the smaller 440ml!

3.8% i think your find.

the 1.8% quote was saying that lagers with 5.5% etc are sooo much more damaging... to the person who said its like drinking water.

Definitely the worst tasting of the big brands (Fosters, Kroney, Carling, Stella etc.)

Sorry but this stuff really tastes bad. But great deal if you like it.

Old deal only just made hot wall

New prices ]HERE

carling and fosters have far to much gas, even when cold. this is quite nice

Make the most of it. When the anti-drinking fascists ( and politicians with £ signs in their eyes) get their way these prices will be just a dream.

Odd that in other European countries their alcohol is just a fraction of our prices yet they don't have the same problems.

I'm not a big lager drinker, but I like to keep some low-alcohol cheap lager in the fridge over summer. Nice to have a beer with dinner and not get at all buzzed.

I prefer my lager a bit stronger than 3.8% normally but as you say, nice to have something weaker, even 2% during the summer, especially at a barbeque, and still be able to drive.
