just to hard to find the refills now

Very Very expensive way to drink canned beer, plus the cost of the electricity..........only of use if you dont have a fridge...........so.....for that reason.....i,m out

refills are 12 and 14 quid from carlsberg 9 pints in each

you need to keep the refills in the fridge for between 12 -24 hours before use

you can buy them from threshers already in the fridge and the are cheaper there then tesco. These are great for BBQs and partys. Bit better looking than a few tinnies i think.

for nine pints at home thats a lot of dosh

Sound like hard work to me...rather just do the usual and throw a few tins in the fridge and for that reason..I sit on the fence as far as voting hot or cold is concerned.

For £30 I could buy 3 boxes of carlsberg,thats 45 cans!

It does taste nicer than cans or bottles...

Considering it's normally £100 I thought that it was a great saving. I know you can buy cans for a lot less but it's the look and quality that is a lot better

would be a great novelty when havin visitors round....seen this a few days ago and considered gettin it for a xmas prezzie...now ive read how much a pint works out at am not so sure...heat added though as a great saving on it

Don't get me wrong...it's a saving alright...trouble is, for me anyway, even at the discounted price, I would not be tempted....throw in a few kegs for few and I might tho. ;-)

Carlsberg futility. Pointless, even at this price.

do not touch this it is crap loses more lager when it pours:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hows this for an idea...... buy some cans of Carlsberg, put them in the fridge for a couple of hours, then (here's the clever bit) pour one of the cold cans into a pint glass!

Congratulations - you have just saved yourself £ 30

If this is a .97 end of line item surely they will phase out the kegs soon. It's like a shiny over priced soda stream for adults. The could have done wonders with this if they kept the beer prices low, people with one would have stuck to buying the kegs and thier beer but as it's cheaper to buy the cans why bother? If it were a hand pump and a cask of real ale I can see why you would want to pull a pint from this and not have it out of a bottle or can but this is (cooking) larger it won't taste any diffrent.

Someone posts a deal for this every few weeks. I always post this article:

savingtrust.dk/pre…ter

"Carlsberg’s new DraughtMaster™ plug and pour all-in-one beer chiller consumes the same amount of power as five ordinary refrigerators."

There should be bans on this forum from posting things that are clearly very bad for the environment.

Can someone recommend one of these for dispensing beer and not Carlsberg?

Waste. Of. Money.

a) Dont Buy to:
+ Save £30 now
+ Save money as cans are cheaper.
+ save a fortune on electricity (look at the power consumtion of this thing)
+ Not have to waste any leftover flat beer in the keg

b) Buy to:
- Spend £30 now
- have to shop around for and buy overpriced kegs
- ...then find the kegs are discontinued.
- bin / loft / car boot it.

I brought one for my hubs last Xmas & it didn't work, so we took it back to the shop. A few of his friends got them too & they had the same problem. Great idea if it worked!

As above, my mates had 4, kept returning them as faulty!

Good when it does work though!

Maybe an obvious answer but can you buy the refills from any other beer manufacturers?.

I don't believe you can.

Carlsberg don't make rip offs.

But if they did, they would be the biggest rip offs in the world.

Hot for the deal (i.e. it'd be hard to find it cheaper elsewhere), but it is an expensive way to drink.

Have you got one of these Jamsaral or are you just guessing?

WOW thanks for the warning! That is horrendous.

Couple of mates had these for xmas a few years ago and the leaked like sieves both had to return them for refunds.

The Heineken 5 litre kegs for £10.24 at sainsburys or 2 for £20 at Asda are a better bet
Plus my p1ss tastes better than carlsberg

Expensive novelt that will be gathering dust in the garage after 1 bbq!

These are the definition of pointless. :whistling:

Give it a few weeks and theyll be £4.97!

Probably worth it if you like Carlsberg, have a home-bar and entertain guests a lot, but for anyone else I don't see much point!

I'd rather just buy bottled beers (and not Carlsberg), and chill them in the fridge. Does the job fine.

lol thankyou duncan banatine....

If you are having guests push the boat and get a full keg and rent a cooler and taps from a pub. No leakage, loads of booze, proper gas, cold beer. VICTORY.

how pointless and with bad reviews, voted cold

It's only Carlsberg. Guess I could use it for catching slugs.
