Instead of voting cold, why don't you show a better deal where you can get this from!!!

Or is it that you prefer a 3% lager!!! http://bestsmileys.com/angry1/6.gif

Voted hot- although these will go down much better cold :-)
Thank goodness Sainsburys is my local supermarket- this is a great price.

Hot, a good price for a nice beer.

voted cold simply because i hate the taste of that stuff.give me a clean, crisp corona.good price though if you like it

Vote on the deal not whether you like it or not!!! Do you vote cold on every phone deal because you've already got a phone? Where's the logic...

Seriously, if you hate Carlsberg Export so much, I'm curious as to why you would even open a thread entitled Carlsgberg Export 20 x 275ml bottles HALF PRICE £7.49 @ Sainsburys GREAT DEAL!!! let alone post on it. Any ideas? There's some real drongos on here today.

The maths = 5.5 litres (9.9 pints) for £7.49, 76p a pint

Asda have 3 for £20 on Stella (5.2%)......17.04 litres (30 pints), 66p a pint.

Probably why it was voted cold? I dunno, it ain't a bad deal, cheap beer is cheap beer after all :-D

Stella is awful, and makes people violent

have to agree carlsberg export is the pits good price though

Stella is awful, and makes people violent

haha. Sorry, run this one past me again...

Stella makes people violent, right. I usally drink stella and it does no such thing. Maybe you need to stop generalising about it.

Good deal, will pop to my local sainsburys to see if they got any, got some mates over tonight, might need a few of these...

I think it's from Australia, at least that's where I heard it last when I used to watch neighbours all those years ago when the character Joe Mangel was on it. His other favourite phrases included "you dirty mongrel!" and "flaming gala!"

Just because you don't like the stuff isn't a valid reason for voting it cold.
If you found the same product on sale for say £5 then you would be entitled to vote cold. This is a lager I drink and at the minute this is a very good deal so I can't understand people who vote it cold. If anyone can find a better deal on bottles of this stuff please post here!!

Great price for premium beer. There is something nice from drinking from bottles too. Corona is only 4%, probably why you prefer that taste. Leave these beers to us violent lot!

Quote: Corona is only 4%

Its actually 4.6%...and its in a different league to Carlsberg, although this is still a hot deal.

In fact, I posted about the deal of 20 x 275ml bottles of Carlsberg Export for £7.49 in the Sainsbury's thread a couple of days ago, so I guess it shows that to get real attention, you need to start a whole new thread.

In my post, I pointed out that in Tesco, many of the 20 x 275ml bottle packs of Carlsberg Export come with an extra 4 bottles of Carlsberg Edge for free, so if Sainsbury's have these packs, you could get 24 bottles for £7.49. This would make it the best deal out there at 1.13 per litre / 64p per pint.

When I posted this deal I searched the Sainsburys thread and there was no mention of it. You should of posted it as a hot deal because at this price it certainly deserves a thread of its own.

I'm looking for the amazing bargain threads you've started since you've been on here but I'm struggling, could you give me a pointer, please?

Dont vote on something just because YOU dont like the PRODUCT.

You are voting for the DEAL not the product

got mine yesterday a 7.49 is a really good price!!! voted hot

Voted warm. It's an OK price but nothing to shout home about.

Sainsburys still seem to have the 12 bottles Cobra deal @ £8.07 going - which is pretty hard to beat.

I agree with this. It's worth noting that even though it's not available online, you can get 2 cases of Kronenbourg 20 x 300ml bottles for £16 instore at Sainsbury's and this makes it cheaper per pint than the Carlsberg Export offer, presuming of course that you need to buy 40 bottles.

when ur down sainsburys buying these, pick up a pack of jammie dodgers half price only 31p !!!! gotta love those dodgers

It's actually showing at £10.09 for 12 bottles online for me, so perhaps it's gone up.

Personally, I'm very interested in the Sainsbury's Taste the Difference beers at £1.99 for 4 x 330ml. I notice the Munich Style Oktoberfest Bier is 5.4% ABV, so at 50p a bottle, this seems like a good deal. It seems that despite the suggestion otherwise, all of these beers are brewed over here, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has tried any of the Taste the Difference beers and what they think.

I buy these quite often.

They are nice beers - but they are more of a proper beer. People who like rat **** like Carling and such may not like them, as they are an acquired taste.

Do try them though, you probably won't regret it.

The Interbrew rubbish that we drink in the UK has that reputation............but try buying the Belgian brewed stuff, entirely different taste, much smoother and no hangover.

It's a must-buy if you're ever in Calais (the Belgian brew cans and bottles are a slightly different colour)

Aldi do a Belgian lager that, legend has it, is actually 'masked' imported Stella. Very nice it is, too.

posted this and other Sainsburys offers the other day, was deleted as should be in the Sainsbury thread... lol

The Belgian Stella is 5.3% not 5.2% like the UK stuff.

If that Aldi lager is also 5.3% then the legend could be right :-D
