£1 a pint to drink decent tasting lager... probably the best lager in the world? Why bother going to the pub?!

Carlsberg Export is a superior, premium strength lager with a refined & satisfying taste.

5% Alcohol Volume. 2.9 UK Units.

Enjoy responsibly...

Firstly this is not decent lager (my personal opinion of course) and secondly it's expensive.

Voted COLD.

Each to their own... this is a "premium" lager, i.e. it's not cheap s**t like *cough* Carling *cough*. You pay that bit more for a higher quality lager and Carlsberg Export meets that criteria. You're lucky to pay under £3 for a "decent" pint in the pub these days.

The makers might call it a "premium" beer but it's still just as bad as Carling imo - just a bit stronger. It's not in the same league as Staropramen or Bitburger (lagers that I would pay a bit extra for) or even Beck's but each to their own I suppose.

The deal itself is bad as it works out at 17.6p per 100ml whereas you can buy 4 x 440ml cans in Asda for £2.94 which is on regular offer and works out at just 16.7p per 100ml.

It's also not a very good comparison comparing the price of this to what you'd pay in a pub. A more realistic comparison would be comparing it to other supermarket offers.
