This must have been running for a few years based on the volume of Mums in their PJ's and dressing gowns on the school run.
The things people will do to save a couple of quid
This is ridiculous. Shouldn't be encouraging people like this.
Do Tesco’s do a similar offer?. Always seeing people dressed in pj’s in there.

You'd have thought they would have ran it the next day?
Fools!

Excellent! A whole new breed of Arthur Dents.........
Is it just a dressing gown? Let's hope the beast from the east doesn't visit that day ...
Carluccios and towns where people in dressing gowns post 9am don’t quite go hand in hand. Maybe these folk would be more at home in McDonalds or Spoons?
Embarrassing moments
Good God...... No!?
Try visiting Coalville. See these types of people all throughout the day nevermind breakfast. Good offer if you're that desperate and a bit of strange one.

I think it sounds like a bit of fun. Take one with you in a bag and put it on outside the store. Go on.... live a little and shrug off sociological expectations by not fitting in!

I could understand if they were donating some of the profits to charity.
The gypos around here usually wander around in their jammies all day anyhow.

I'll be avoiding Carluccio's on the 31st I think.

I really don't think the intention is to draw in people who don't bother to dress themselves in a morning. I think it's a fun way to give out a freebie that appeals to the inner child inside of us all. I remember when my school did a wear your PJs to school day, everyone loved it.

Go on.... I dare you!
Seen people loads a times in onesies in Aldi, no free anything, just scumbags!!!
Pre-emptive April Fools?

most people recognise that, but also feel it may be subverted in the aforementioned way due to the unfortunate but undeniable existence of these unsavoury elements in society.
If they're anything like the dressing gown attired mums I see in my local co-op, they may have to rename the place Carstinccio's that day.

How do you make a profit when giving something away for free?
Sounds like fun, I'm in. Look forward to seeing the pretentious snobs looking down their nose at me.
And a free drink for ladies in stocking and suspenders
Anything to stop the whole chain going bankrupt!

Feels like society is racing downhill
Not sure why people should be encourgaed to not get dressed. I used to see a lot of people in Manchester who would just juimp on the bus in their sleep garments. That puzzled me then and this is even worse.

I would have more respect for them if they were feeding the homeless.
I like the chain, and I imagine their breakfast will be quite tasty. I'm quite happy to head into town in my normal clothes, pop a dressing gown on at the door, and enjoy a freebie -

I reckon society will cope
I've not seen anything about this on the Carluccio's website, Twitter, etc. There are plenty of "news" outlets advertising this but does anyone actually have a confirmed official source?

I might just be being paranoid but something seems funny...
Early April's Fool?
(Fake offer?)
Where's the proof
I've never understood why some people get so offended by people in public wearing pyjamas. "Look at those fools, wearing garments that are both warm and comfortable. Egad, some of them even have fun, visually pleasing designs that allow them to show off their personality. What has become of our dear society?!"

And with free breakfast to boot? Why the heck not.

That's what I'm saying. Even if they charged a couple of quid for the breakfasts and donated it all to charity is better than charging nothing.
Chavs of the world unite ... at carluccio's.

Sounds like a rallying call for the great unwashed.
