Looks like CarPlan haven't improved their de-icer formulation from last year's batch. Agree with 'borsuk', CarPlan de-icer is total rubbish. Only suitable for dissolving a very light dusting of windscreen frost. The product will not touch ice at all. My suspicion is that the CarPlan formulation uses too much water and insufficient isopropanol or methanol (hence the cheap price). Although I haven't tried it yet, I believe that Prestone aerosol de-icer is the one to use. But it is circa £2.40 per 600ml can.
