    Worth saying, although information in the post states this as being a PH neutral cleaner it is in fact acid based so definitely not recommended for any regular use really, not if you value your alloys over the longer term anyway. Not least it needs to be handled with care by the user. It looks like the OP may have innocently copied product information off Amazon’s web page for this particular cleaner so I’ve submitted an incorrect information form to Amazon.

    I just tested cleaning my wheels using Harpic Max x10 yesterday and it worked a treat.
    No idea if there's any likelihood of damage but it certainly got the very baked on brake dust removed (edited)

    Nice tip.
    If you spray the wheels with hairspray after washing, it will prevent brake dust from sticking.
