I got this a while ago last time I saw on here for £12 which i thought was a deal. It does the job. will get you jumped, compressor works but is very noisy (bag of spanners describes the sound best). But its very cheap!!

Only criticism is that you need to make sure the leads don't short as there is no on or off switch for the jump leads..

is it li or lead acid, does it weigh 50-g or 7kg? How many amps, how big …is it li or lead acid, does it weigh 50-g or 7kg? How many amps, how big an engine can it start?

Sshhhhh....stop being sensible.
You either by shiz you don't need....or you don't buy it.
Don't make things complicated. I've bought this to add to the storage facility of hot UK deals items I've bought and never used.
I'm probably going to put it on some plastic shelving I bought next to a load of rain water catcher things that seemed to good to be true and with a bit of luck I will be able to see it in the dark thanks to a load of wireless security lights I took a plunge on.
When I get it I will probably open the box with some of the brightly coloured kitchen knives I invested in then read the Chinese instructions with my miracle glasses whilst eating breakfast out of the fengshui bowls and consuming the bargain nearly out of date breakfast cereal I just got and if its too chilly I will do all this whilst turning up the heat on my central heating with my new nest thermostat that hopefully works.

"It's always live when charged".

That's madness, at any price.

I would avoid based on the croc clips always being live! Safety hazard...

The battery is worth £10 alone

You can isolate the clips with plastic bags Or if you can be bothered wire in an inline switch... Now 9.24 prime

just gone up to £41.99 now price changed when i went to pay gutted!

Bought at £10.43.

Shed bargain that you hope you'll never need. With a bit of luck I'll be able to teach my darling wife how to jump start her vespa on the many occasions she doesn't ride it for a few days and forgets to plug in her trickle charger .

If it has a 17Ah battery in it it's an absolute steal - similar capacity for a motorbike would £50+.

Thanks to OP.

Missed the boat! Great deal though

The croc clips look like my jump leads...the designs means that they can't short unless you open them, so whats the problem. A battery is always live when charged.

I have to agree. When I read that the clips were permanently live, I thought WTF? But having looked at the product pics it's obvious you could only short them deliberately, or if very unlucky, or really stupid. So whilst an internal switch would be nice, it's not really an accident waiting to happen. Shame I missed this, the Lidl one I had years ago was so useful, for the pump mostly, though I think it had a 12v outlet as well, does this?

Now expired price gone up

Well mine arrived with following faults:

Wouldn't charge
Voltage meter US.

Opened back:

Wire to meter snapped/never soldered - now fixed.

Red led on charge socket US. Will pick up new one from maplin for 29p. A bit cheap to use the led circuit as the actual charging circuit!

Anyway was about 90% charged on arrival, I connected to my Noco 1.1 trickle charger via the croc clips and topped up no problem.

Even given the 10 minutes to strip and fix/find the faults this is a real bargain.
