A word of warning beforehand, you have to unlock most of the cars in the game. You have Lightning at the start, but you need to complete races to unlock more. I had to finish nearly every race and challenge in the damn game to unlock Jackson Storm so my Son could finally play as him

Thanks for the heads up dude. I’ve looked at some reviews and no one actually mentions if it’s any good for really young kids like my three year old. Any ideas?

It's fairly simple, I'd say he'd get some sport out of it. Mine were 4 and 6 when it came out and they loved it. It's got like 20 cars (once you unlock them!) and locations from all three films, so they loved being able to race their favourite characters around Radiator Springs and the Florida Speedway. There's some more complex mechanics (drifting, stunts, weapons) for older kids, but younger ones can just hold X and drive around the tracks.
