Yummy! These both look so tasty! I’m off to Heron Foods tomorrow! Thanks very much for sharing.
Very nice if you live in the North, Eton Mess seems to have completely disappeared from Supermarkets in the South AFAICT
Very strong deal. I love Herons at the moment thanks for sharing
Any Carte dor tub of icecream I've ever picked up seemed suspiciously light, I had some melt in a bowl and what was left looked nothing like any Häagen das melted icecream. They whip it full of air and make it from inferior ingredients. Ok for kids who don't know the difference.
Putting the words 'Gelateria' and 'Carte D'Or' within about a half a mile of each other just should not be possible. A little like seeing the words 'Boris' and 'truth' together.
These look like an end of line sell off. Ones I got are dated Sept 2019 - which is well in date but short dated for frozen food - hence how HF got a job lot cheap.

Also, local store only had about 20 units available at openning this morning. Manager said he might get more stock but wasn't sure.

All supermarket ice cream has air whipped in - otherwise it would be rock hard. HG does use actual cream in it's ice cream but then you pay a premium for that. Personally I don't like HD at all. Kelly's is the best of the supermarket stuff IMO.

Or remain MP's who voted leave and democracy!
Cooltrader in Belle Vale had plenty of each today.
My local Heron also has the 900 ml tubs of Carte D'Or Gelateria chocolate profiterole ice cream for £1.

It has 50 less calories per 100ml then hagen das so you may be right, but just looking at the ingredients vs hagen das you can see its got a bunch of fillers, hagen das uses cream as well where carte D’or uses only skim milk which could make it appear more watery when melted and not as thick
In Oswestry branch today!
got 2 earlier. tastes awesome
Had lemon meringue at my local one too 🏽
