For those who don't know, this is the popcorn seasoning most of the cinemas use for the salty popcorn. Even £9.95 isn't a bad price as you only use 1tsp for a really big batch of popcorn so it lasts forever. Although there is a £3.95 delivery charge, this website also sells kernels etc if you need to stock up!

Fantastic find this, as I have worked within the cinema industry for over 32 years and never seen this on sale In the UK only In the U.S. This is indeed the authentic stuff used and as a top tip if you can find it buy Ball popcorn seed to pop with as opposed to butterfly popcorn seed to pop your corn. There is nothing wrong with butterfly popcorn as this is what you usually get in cinemas as the cost is cheaper to buy. However the Ball popcorn seed gives you bigger pieces and much more tasty in my opinion.

Not sure about the price but if you like homemade salted popcorn Buy it as it’s the real deal.

Enjoy.

nice I have been looking for a good place to get this flavacol for a while thanks op
Any idea where to get some popping corn to go with this? Checked the main supermarkets and none seem to stock it
Thanks very much OP. Just bought this as I was looking for a way to make popcorn without sugar. This looks excellent

You'll often find dried corn kernels in the (ahem) "world foods" sections of the larger supermarkets.
Failing that, Amazon or eBay is your best bet.

Roxa_Man_300 mentioned that they also sell kernels on the same website as this deal. Amazon also sell them and easiest of all is probably your local supermarket as old_mikefield said

That site looks more for the professional popcorn maker, I'd consider myself 'beginner' if that. I've noticed how much Saturated Fat is in the ready made stuff you can get from Home and Bargain, especially the salted variety.

I always thought salted popcorn would have no sat fat, but seems i was wrong
Thanks OP. We're planning a movie night for my daughter's birthday. I've ordered the snacks from the supplier for my local cinema but was struggling to get authentic popcorn buckets.

I didn't realise this but by looking at a ready made bag online, I can see what you mean! Last time I did some, I used no fat at all - just put some in a brown paper bag and microwaved it. I did a sweet version with orange juice and xylitol (not entirely successful) so this time I want to do a savoury version. This stuff looks like the perfect solution. Certainly worth a try. I'm looking to make a diabetic-friendly snack that we can have at any time
I've used this for a while with one of the silicone popping containers from Amazon. Usually I go for a teaspoon of Flavacol, a tablespoon or two of coconut oil, and a teaspoon of butter. It probably isn't the healthiest mix, but it tastes amazing and is easy to make consistently well. Like all things it is a nice treat in moderation.

Good deal on the Flavacol-- as a note, this is easily more than a year's supply. I know there are some multibuy packs on Amazon that might come in cheaper, but you would struggle to get through those if you weren't in the popcorn biz.
I’ve been wanting this for ages! I ordered a few different flavours! Thanks
Does this work for air popped corn as what makes it stick?
Fantastic. Had an Airbnb in Nashville last year (A bar) with a full size popcorn machine. This is what they used. Had popcorn and coffee for breakfast everyday. Ordered

Well I'm certainly glad that you have had a brief insight into this, I'm not diabetic but I do keep a check on my fat/sat fat intake.

My local Morrisons sells them in with the lentils/pulses etc.
Thanks OP, I never knew they sold this in the UK. FYI delivery is free over £20
£7.24 on checkout for me.
They sell the cinema nacho cheese dips too
Seems expensive for a box of salt with artificial butter flavour. Can’t you just use some home clarified butter and Maldon salt?

This is slightly healthier than other options as you get the buttery flavour without the butter and the salt crystals are a lot finer (it looks a bit like semolina) so it covers way better whilst using less of it. There's also nothing that I've tried that makes the popcorn taste exactly like the stuff you get at the cinema!
Has anyone had a dispatch email? I've received a dispatch email but there's no tracking.

I’m having the same issue with them, contacted numerous times through live chat and I got a tracking number but yodel says it hasn’t been dispatched by the sender. The guy on live chat says he needs to investigate what’s happening but he never contacts me back.

Very frustrating! I just got an email from Yodel saying a parcel is on the way. I assume it’s this one (as you also mentioned yodel from the online chat) but there is no detail as to who it’s from who knows!

Ditto! The live chat was from A1 equipment themselves but I checked the yodel app and it’s in transit! Should’ve receive it by the 19th. I don’t know why they promised it being delivered on Tuesday and then lie about it being dispatched.
So I've been on chat and the guy gave me half a tracking number which obviously wouldn't register on Yodel tracking. I went back on live chat and he tells me that's because Yodel haven't collected it yet. Why send me an email saying item has shipped then? If anything I would prefer an honest response than have someone BS me. If there's a delay because of stock just say, it looks dodgy when you hand out tracking numbers that don't track. I've paid by Paypal so at least I know I'm covered.

Don’t know why they felt the need to lie on the chat but at least it’s on the way now!
Got a email about it shipped too. Then an invoice to make and a payment even though paid by PayPal . As others these is no tracking number or indication it has actually been shipped. Thinking they didn't have the stock too.

Check to see if it’s been shipped now. I probably wouldn’t order from them again.
Nope! No tracking number as of yet
Same here :/

Just had notification of another pending delivery tomorrow from them so looks like they have sent out the missing item
Received mine, all good in the end. They really need to work on their communication.
So disappointing to read the negative comments on here as I'd come to leave a comment about my positive experience. My order arrived and one of the items was incorrect. I contacted them and received a reply almost immediately. The next day, the replacement item arrived. I thought their customer service was great.
