Great find @grace.pass - nice first deal!

Welcome to HUKD, thanks for contributing
Wairau Cove is effectively tescos own brand. The price goes up and down regularly. Less than £4 a bottle is very very good, Not a great NZ wine but drinkable.
A case of wine is twelve bottles. This is six bottles so should correctly be described as a half-case.

Unfortunately you and the OP are wrong and Holloway is right, a 'case' of wine as defined by the industry is actually 12 bottles. I agree that you typically see wine packed up in boxes of six bottles at high Street retailers these days, but these are half-cases. If you go to the professional or wholesale side of the retail industry you will find more retail boxes of 12 that equal a case. You learn something every day...

Lots of booze deals in Tesco posted over the last couple of days but none in my local Tesco Extra - what's going on?

OK but we the post was about Tesco supermarket, when supermarkets has wine "case" deals it's 6 bottles, it's not a vineyard /wine dealer so we will agree to disagree

So Tesco is wrong too!

Just bought a couple of cases at Lidl - there were twelve bottles in each.
This is a drinkable wine but it is bulk shipped to the UK and bottled here, typical for the bottom end of the market. £4 a bottle is a good price but it is probably not worth more than £5 - £6, so forget the list prices.
Bought from Haverfordwest store
Couple of boxes in Llanelli store which I kindly left for others. There were a few reduced booze items, wine and spirits
Thank you grace.pass for the heads up. Rarely do i see specific stores close to me on here. So thanks for posting. Keep it up if you see any bargins in the Norwich area.
