Just got this on an email

Introducing Cashback Plus, a new free benefit with your current account. It gives you at least 1% of your everyday spend back in Rewards, just for using your NatWest Visa debit card to pay for qualifying purchases at participating retailers.

To celebrate our launch, in addition to our participating retailers, NatWest are offering you 1% of your spend back in Rewards on your Tesco groceries, until 30th November 2013**. For full details of this offer and exclusions please see our website.

Just sign up today, spend on your card and watch your Rewards build up. Once you have the equivalent of £5 or more worth of Rewards, you can redeem them in one of three ways:

Change them into cash and pay into your current account

Trade up for gift cards of a higher value

Change them into cash and donate to one of our chosen charities

It only takes a minute to sign up online - you just need your debit card, date of birth and email address.

I don't understand -- why does this one end up as lukewarm, while the RBS offer (which is identical, aiui), is currently sitting at -98?

Not available on basic, step or cash accounts. The retailers you can earn cashback with with are - BP, Cineworld, H Samuel, Cafe Nero, Ernest Jones, Multiyork, Charles Tyrwitt, Loch Fyne, New Look, American Golf, feather & black and Hungry Horse.
Thanks for posting but I can't use this as I have a basic account.

Isn't this similar to the Santander Credit card cash back? The credit card cash back is in cash and is valid for all supermarkets not only tesco.

Still 1% is better than nothing if you use Natwest, now I just need to find myself £500 and get my £5 voucher

Because different people voted on both deals... Odds are that by tonight both will be similar.

How long after the purchase do you have to wait for the casback?

Thanks OP!
