Cabernet Sauvignon - Red Chilean Wine

Winemaker's Notes
A smooth, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with cassis and black cherry flavours, complemented by hints of coffee and dark chocolate.

"More than 100 years ago, Don Melchor de Concha y Toro reserved for himself an exclusive batch of his best wines. To keep strangers away from his private reserve, he spread the rumor that the Devil lived in that place. Hence the name: Casillero Del Diablo, The Devil's Cellar".

Nice to see the 25% off 6 bottles back. It seems like a while since there's been decent wine deals. Time to restock.
Cheap and tasty lockdown juice, heat added
Can you add in comment “only available in England”

25% off 6 or more bottles not available in Scotland and only available in wales on bottles over £7 the joy of minimum unit pricing
I bought six bottles tonight (in Wales) and was told minimum price was £7 per bottle to claim the 25% discount. Dunno if that is unique to Wales.
I bought a bottle of this 3 weeks ago and is AWFUL, even at this price

It's likely the same offer is also available in Northern Ireland, as usual.
even better if asda brought it back at 25% off as they drop the price to £4.50 a bottle as well!

Correct ratten so it is
If you like it happy days
But this is one of the many reasons people say they don’t like red wine imho.
Luxury wines are available online for just over £6 a bottle and the difference is massive imho.
Like calling, bud, becks, skol is cooking lager, this vino is cooking wine for me & for that reason I’m out sorry op.
cheers
Would be even cheaper If they (the wine producer) hadn't spent so much on the tv adverts I reckon.

Any recommendations for those £6 bottles, I always end up buying from Sunday times or laithwaites and at £8.99 a bottle, thing is though most of their wines are 14.5 to 15% , too heavy for me

Can you recommend a luxury wine for just over £6, I'd be keen to have a try.
Rex mundai or Cabalie £6.23 a bottle are both quality & the style I like personally

Thank you
can you mix and match with other wines?
You can just hear the conversation right across the world's vineyards;

Do you think we should throw it?

No, the British will buy it.

That's fine with a voucher, but it's not in the same price bracket as this. As a £6 wine this is just fine and at £4.50 is more than palatable. People who dislike this version I suggest trying the Merlot, maybe you dislike the grape.

Any wine that makes the hairs on my arms stand up and gives me a shiver when I drink I class as pish and that’s what It does.
Lifes to short to drink rubbish wine but I understand everyone is different

I'm sure you have a very astute palate, however it does not detract from the fact you are comparing a £15 bottle of wine to a £6 bottle of wine.
Would have added 5 x heat if I could! Good find.
My palate must be useless as I really like this wine. Yes, I prefer some of the much more expensive wines. However for me it's not enough to justify the additional cost.

£36 for 6 delivered @ Amazon prime if you don't want to go out. amazon.co.uk/dp/…159
less than impressed with my order. they hadn't got one of the bottles that I ordered so just sent five bottles which meant that it didn't qualify for 25% off so charged me full price for the five bottles. I also ordered 6 solar powered garden lights, one was obviously faulty and 3 of the 6 had the plastic spike missing off the bottom. Won't be ordering anything else from Sainsbury's
