I found the HDR grade makes the picture generally dimmer and less vibrant than the Blu-ray, and it's also very soft, it looks like it has less detail than the Blu-ray; at least no improvement in detail that I can see, anyway.

What TV you got? Casino Royale probably the weakest of the bunch visually. It was shot 35mm and converted to a 2k intermediate, I do think HDR pops colours more and slightly more detail V Blu-ray - but not worth an upgrade if own it already. Unless rocking a 72" screen then I'd say probably worth it.

Shouldn't the cover say, "Includes the extended unrated edition (rated by the BBFC)"?

Even 007 can't get past the BBFC!
