Quite a good price for the 'Evil Overlord' World Time Casio replete with Dual Digital Analog and Digital time keeping. Over £30 everywhere else

odd one this - has a small digital analog clock and a map to see what timezone you're in.but looks like a nuclear arms targeting system. which is a steal for under £20.

has the usual casio features - 10 year battery, 10bar WR, and illuminator. with 5 alarms.

of course argos have to advertise it as "Casio Men's Fashion Must Have Watch". which clearly it isn't

And hence, more expensive. Your point is?
That is one seriously horrible looking watch!
Love the 80's !
I havent worn a watch in 10 years, they'll be obsolete and a curiosity in another10 years. But a good price if you are looking for something for an 80s party.

Maybe in 50-100 years. Since my dad will hopefully be wearing his until the day he dies, which should be more than 10 years away....all being well
That's fantastically pointless! A shame it's not a waveceptor watch, particularly as it's all based around world time.
I love the way all these watches come with stopwatches accurate to 1/100 second - as if your reaction time was anywhere near that accurate!

this - has ... a nuclear arms targeting system

Great - I know who I can use that on!

Good thing it's got a 10 year battery then - Casio should have advertised this as "the last watch you'll ever need".

Are you kim-yong-un?
For £20 for a 10 year battery powered watch with some funny little features like time zone it doesnt look half bad. Im not talking walking around like you think your it with a £2000 Police or Gucci watch you nuggets, its £20 it aint exactly going to be a aston martin on your wrist and if you do/are your likely a good target to be mugged.
Thanks OP might get one with a 10 year battery, be lucky these days if they last 1 year .
Be quick - only one left in Cheshire Oaks
Really?

What do you mean? It's no more or less tasteful than any other digital watch. Which is to say - not at all tasteful!

Miley Ray Cyrus called, she wants her massively annoying mode of speech back.
I still use and prefer a digital watch. That's why this post caught my eye. I'm currently using a solar charged Casio watch that's lasted over 10 years. Even if I won the lottery tomorrow I would still buy a digital watch.

It's easier to tell the exact time like 10:08pm instead having to judge it at "nearly 10 past 10". And it's easier to flick your wrist than to dig out your phone, press a few buttons to unlock it and then get at the time.
I'm with the op digital is always easier to get the exact time with and if you work somewhere that you may need the precise time, digital wins.

I wear a Casio waveceptor solar and its been the best watch I bought. I do have other more expensive ones for going out but every day the Casio wins.

This is a cheap cheerful entry to digital watches but who better to make it than the champ of the digital watch makers.

Utter rubbish, I guess you have a smartphone, well so do I and still wear a watch, Nothing easier than glancing at the time by just looking at your watch. Having said that some people do not wear watches and it is their choice.

Yes I do have a smartphone for time/date among other things. I am in front of a computer all day with the time displayed in the bottom corner. I just feel freer without a watch/ring etc. and have just become used to it and prefer it. Horses for courses and all that.

Yup Casios are awesome. Waveceptor tech is amazing. I've also got a nice Ediface beater that looks really nice, super hard wearing.
Only other brand I'd put in the same bracket is Seiko, I just don't tend to like how they look.
(Seiko even make their own ink!)
I think it looks ok,a little quirky but that can be a good thing, good buy for £20
If the 10 year battery is the real deal-maker for some people, you might as well buy a nice Analogue Timex which have 10 year batteries, indiglo backlight and look like they were made this side of the millenium.

Just because you are sat in front of a PC all day doesn't make watches obsolete, they're still the quickest & eastiest way of telling the time when on the move.

But hey the world don't move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you, may not be right for some.

See my post #26. I'm not anti-watch. They are just not for me. I have already said that and seem to get attacked for it.
i wouldnt buy this for even £2.
Would buy this If I didn't already have a Casio wave ceptor (bought from Argos!). Hot even tho it's not a ceptor. 10 year battery is a clincher.

No attack meant, but I'm sure watches will still be around in 10 years time, hell the pocket watch will probably make a comeback with a facebook/instagram app!

Ha ha!! Watches obsolete in 10 years!! It's the other way around, they'll become your main interface for many functions currently carried out by your phone.
I tend to go for the even cheaper ones, black resin based models that sprint up when you type "casio watch" into amazon, but this one looks fun / good too.
Absolutely, Apple Testing iOS-Powered Smart Watch With Curved Display, I love watches....

Great watch but I never trust the plastic case of the watch with a metal bracelet.

Very similar to the Seiko G757 worn by James Bond in Octopussy, I have one somewhere but can't find it which is a shame as they can fetch serious money on eBay.

I wouldn't wear a modern copy but the original has vintage kudos.
