The 80's called they want their watch back.

I love that joke, I nearly fell off my mammoth laughing the first time I heard it.

I wear mine everyday. Ever since I was a kid I'd dreamed of owning one of these, now I do! Some people probably hate themselves because they don't own their dream Rolex watch, but me, I live the dream every day!

And that would have sounded so much more clever if the the 1968 referred … And that would have sounded so much more clever if the the 1968 referred to my year of birth and not when I lost my dad.

Well that escalated quickly.

So, what’s the deal about again?

I'd love to know what memory this has. Its going to be seriously 'old school', probably 640K or something.
Come on now, who wears watches like this anymore? In the 80s great but with all the technology I.e. Smartphones these days they have it all on then. Plus it looks hideous.

Haha, I think it’s the retro charm, it’s precisely because its not cutting edge.

That would have worked so much better if our usernames didn’t tell everyone that you’re 4 years older than me.

Fail

Personally, retro-charm is something simple and functional - like an analogue watch, maybe even with an automatic movement. Whereas this watch is interesting, because a precursor of some of the technology we now expect, but it is basically a rubbish version of it, so it would be perverse to try and use it as an alternative.

Doubt it's anywhere near that much! Can you imagine how long it would take to type in that amount of characters on this watch?

I'm so tempted! Take me back to the good old days! Lol

Great looking watch. Have ordered from Amazon, just hope they don't cancel the order. No stock at my local few argos stores.

Not a chance they’d waste the extra cash on this, it’s the casio f-91w you’re thinking of.
Everyone under 100 who hasn't got a phone will need one of these. So that's.....er......um......at least.........3!

Because everyone assumed that and not that it's your DOB which whenever you see a year in a username you assume it is.

And no the 44 isn't a year of birth nor when I lost my dad (2017 as it happens).

No, my friend, it's the F91-W 33234130-PpfOm.jpgI do love the Casio retro watches - though I prefer mine with the Electro Luminescence light (same as Indiglo).
