Fair price if you don't get wet much but want radio accuracy. But set any Casio and it'll be within a second or two in 10 years time, so not sure of the radio-time value.

50metre water resistant... how many people would go deeper and buy this watch??

I've really noticed how far off some casios get in a month since having a radio controlled watch to compare them, digital casios that I have are the worse. They're out 30-60 seconds a month. Not gonna make a huge difference in the real world but not as accurate as i thought they were.
I'm using this for work. The radio control works a treat but the appearance of the watch I can only describe as cheap and nasty
The watch looks good to me (stainless steel on plastic) I haven't bought this one. though I have a number of radio controlled watches. This one apparently updates itself every night. I'm surprised it gets as far out as 30 to 60 seconds a month. Of course, it depends where the watch is at that time. Sometimes, I have to take my radio-controlled clocks to a window to get them to sychronise.

I didn't mean this watch goes out by 30-60 seconds a month. I was referring to other, non radio controlled casios.

This watch should be correct at all times.

It won't be that accurate without auto syncing. It will drift probably 1-2 seconds a month which in a year could be over half a minute. A radio controlled one will be bang on day after day....after day.
I have this watch, i haven't wore it for a long time but i like the look.

I did have an issue sometimes with it not syncing properly which made the time go out by a lot but that might have been because of the battery being low. Had to leave it on the window sill sometimes to get it working again.
I got boyf this from Amazon Warehouse (resin strap version). Didn't realise till after purchase that there's a few bad reviews stating the date changes (?) after a while.

See here and here and here - you get the gist.

It's not boyf's favourite watch so I'll have to ask him if his is still working.

I have quite a few Casio's and all the non atomic ones will drift from accuracy by anything from 1sec (Edifice) to 10 seconds (One of my G Shocks) a month. With the rest varying inbetween.
You're dreaming if you expect a non atomic Casio to be almost spot on accurate after 10 years.

Yes valid point it does look rather cheap and tatty.

I am currently wearing a £15 casio watch and looking to upgrade to a g shock myself
This would not be an upgrade
This is my favourite cheap Casio of all-time - as a digial watch, I think it looks fine and you definitely want the metal strap version. Even the faff of knocking out some links is preferable to the resin strap version that inevitably breaks its strap after 6 months.

I had several of these until I switched to a fancier Pro Trek Casio (on sale at half price but still over 100 quid!) with a resin strap that actually is built to last. Loved the watch features (had solar too, which let me use the alarms and backlight without battery life worries), but the display actually had smaller digits than this Casio despite having a massive bezel/size!

Current watch is now a Galaxy Watch - exact opposite in terms of battery life (4 days between charges :-( ) but the features are so much better than any of the "dumb" Casio watches. Sadly, Casio's smatchwatches are just way overpriced, even though they look nice.

The time on my non-radio Casio is wrong by about an hour for 6 months of the year...

Well it is mentioned in the details

Not in this one...

Suitable for swimming water resistant 59 metres/5 Bar
it doesn't say suitable for diving either.

I love these watches and have had this bracelet model before and a couple with resin straps. I've ordered another.

In the past, I have had two develop a fault whereby they periodically spontaneously reset. Probably a momentary battery disconnection; I'm pretty sure the fault developed after a battery replacement in both cases.

What I find is that if the time is grossly incorrect the watch will never sync to the radio signal. You have to manually set the date and time to "almost right" prior to forcing a sync. Then the watch properly syncs. It's only been an issue with the ones that developed the reset fault.

My main watch is a solar powered G Shock Waveceptor. Only downside is it can be difficult to keep it charged in the winter and it can only use the ridiculous US MM/DD date format. (The watch in this offer doesn't have that limitation). I've ordered this one to give me a backup for the winter.
